We are building a performance-focused dropshipping operation across multiple international markets and are looking for an experienced Creative Strategist / Senior Ad Editor to help us build our creative department.
This is NOT a traditional branding position.
Our business is built around fast product testing, competitor research, high-quality creative execution and systematic scaling of winning products.
Creative output is one of the most important parts of our entire operation. We are therefore looking for someone who understands both sides:
Strategy + Execution.
You should understand how to find winning concepts, turn them into structured tests, create clear Creative Briefs and work hands-on with editors to produce high-quality ads.
Initially, this position will start on a smaller scale as a test phase. If the collaboration and results are strong, the goal is to develop this into a long-term Creative Team Lead position and build the creative team together.
How Our Creative Testing Works
Understanding our process is important.
Stage 1: Product Testing
When testing a new product, we start with proven competitor ads.
These creatives need to be recreated and localized at a very high standard.
We care about:
Accurate localization and translation
High-quality video and image execution
Matching the original creative structure
Matching the pacing, voiceover and overall feel of the reference
Correct product, offer and funnel information
Clean and professional execution
The goal is not to unnecessarily reinvent a proven concept during the initial test.
The goal is to create a high-quality version of an already validated creative so we can properly test the product and offer.
Stage 2: Scaling Winning Products
Once a product passes our initial testing phase, creative strategy becomes much more important.
You will:
Find additional competitor ads and concepts
Research competitors continuously
Identify new hooks and angles
Analyze existing winning ads
Create iterations of winning creatives
Build structured A/B tests
Write Creative Briefs for editors
Coordinate production of new ads
We don't want random creative variations.
Every new creative should have a reason for being tested and, where possible, isolate variables so we can understand what actually improved or hurt performance.
Stage 3: Expanding Beyond Competitor Ads
Eventually, competitor creatives alone are not enough.
At this stage, you should be able to expand the creative library through:
Reinterpreting winning ads from other products or markets
Taking proven creative structures and applying a different angle
Developing new concepts from scratch
Using current market and advertising trends
Following our internal SOPs and frameworks
Creating new hooks, angles and formats based on actual performance data
The objective is to continuously increase creative output without simply producing more of the same.
Awareness & Funnel Understanding
You should understand that not every customer needs to see the same message.
Experience with concepts such as:
Customer Awareness Stages
Top of Funnel (TOF)
Middle of Funnel (MOF)
Bottom of Funnel (BOF)
Problem-aware vs. solution-aware audiences
Different hooks and angles for different levels of awareness
is important.
When developing new concepts, we want our creative library to cover different awareness stages instead of targeting every customer with the same message.
Your Responsibilities
Creative Research & Strategy
Research competitors and their advertising
Find strong reference ads for new product tests
Identify winning hooks, angles and creative structures
Monitor creative trends in the market
Analyze existing winners and develop new iterations
Create structured Creative Briefs
Plan A/B tests and creative variations
Develop concepts from scratch when competitor material becomes limited
Creative Production
You must also be comfortable working hands-on.
You should be able to:
Recreate competitor creatives at a high standard
Produce Meta video and image ads
Edit voiceovers, subtitles, visuals and pacing
Work with UGC and existing media
Create AI-generated assets when required
Turn Creative Briefs into finished ads
Quality Control
A major part of this position is ensuring that our creative output maintains a consistently high standard.
You will review creatives for:
Translation and localization quality
Visual accuracy
Voiceover quality
Pacing and editing
Correct offers and product information
Consistency with the reference or Creative Brief
Overall readiness before creatives go live
Building the Creative Team
This role starts hands-on.
We are NOT looking for someone who only wants to manage other people.
However, our long-term goal is to build a dedicated creative team around this position.
If the test phase is successful, you will have the opportunity to become our Creative Team Lead.
Together, we will:
Hire additional editors
Build efficient workflows
Create and improve SOPs
Assign Creative Briefs
Review editor output
Maintain quality standards
Increase daily creative output
Develop a scalable creative production system across different markets
If you already know talented editors or other potential creative team members you have successfully worked with before, that is a strong plus.
Experience We're Looking For
Ideally, you already have experience with:
Dropshipping
Meta /
Performance creative production
Creative strategy
Competitor ad research
Creative Brief creation
Direct-response advertising
Creative testing and A/B testing
Awareness stages and funnel concepts
Scaling winning products through additional creatives
Previous experience working inside a high-volume dropshipping operation or performance marketing team is a major advantage.
Tools
You should be comfortable with modern creative production tools such as:
CapCut
Adobe Premiere Pro / Photoshop or similar
ElevenLabs
Higgsfield
Magnific
Freepik
AI image and video generation tools
You don't need to know every tool we use from day one.
More important is that you understand how to use modern AI and editing tools to achieve high-quality output quickly and efficiently.
Who We're Looking For
You should be someone who:
Understands the dropshipping testing and scaling environment
Thinks strategically but is still willing to execute
Has a strong eye for performance creatives
Can distinguish between copying a winner and strategically iterating a winner
Understands Creative Briefs
Understands A/B testing
Can work quickly without sacrificing quality
Is highly organized and reliable
Takes ownership
Communicates clearly in English
Can eventually coordinate and lead other editors
We care less about cinematic editing and more about your ability to create high-quality ads that are built to convert.
Long-Term Opportunity
We are starting this position at a smaller scale to test the collaboration, workflow and results.
If it works, this is intended to become a long-term position with significantly more responsibility.
Our goal is to build a creative department capable of supporting multiple products and markets with a consistently high creative output.
For the right person, this means the opportunity to grow from a hands-on Creative Strategist into the person responsible for creative strategy, production and eventually the creative team itself.
How to Apply
Please send:
Examples of Meta ads you have created
Examples of dropshipping products or campaigns you have worked on
At least one Creative Brief you have written, if available
