JOB OVERVIEW

Paid Freelance / Project-Based Engagement | Remote | Philippines Only

We are looking for a US Registered Nurse (USRN) who is also an excellent natural writer to work with us on healthcare content and communications.

We are looking for someone who understands the US healthcare environment, can research independently, identify relevant topics, and turn healthcare knowledge and real-world practice challenges into clear, engaging, and original content.

This engagement will begin on a project basis. Our intention is to identify the right writer for regular ongoing work and, as our content and client requirements grow, evaluate the opportunity for a full-time role.

About Our Work

We support US physicians and medical practices across multiple areas, including:

* Patient Access & Front-Office Support — scheduling, patient coordination and communication, referrals, orders, and administrative support
* Insurance & Authorization Support — eligibility and benefits verification, prior authorizations, and payer follow-ups
* Credentialing & Provider Enrolment
* Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) — billing and coding support, claims, accounts receivable, denials, and related functions
* Healthcare Documentation — AI-assisted documentation and scribing, medical scribing, medical transcription, and EHR documentation support
* Audit, Compliance & Documentation Review — documentation completeness and consistency, diagnosis/assessment alignment, medications and orders, coding and billing documentation, CPT/ICD support, medical necessity, and care-setting appropriateness
* Practice Operations & Workflow Support — patient lists, trackers, reporting, workflows, and back-office support
* Digital Presence & Fractional Marketing — social media, personal branding, newsletters, website content, healthcare content, and related digital marketing support

What You May Work On

Content will initially be developed for our founder's personal brand, company LinkedIn page, website, and newsletter.

You will also have the opportunity to work on similar content and digital-presence requirements for physicians and medical practices that engage us for these services.

Assignments can include:

* LinkedIn and other social media content
* Healthcare blogs and long-form articles
* Newsletters
* Thought-leadership and personal-branding content
* Website content
* Case studies and educational content
* Research into US healthcare trends, workflows, regulations, and practice challenges
* Developing original content ideas and maintaining a pipeline of relevant topics
* Adapting content and tone for different physicians, practices, executives, and brands

We are particularly interested in someone who can understand a subject, develop an original perspective, and write naturally for the intended audience rather than simply producing generic content from a brief.

What We're Looking For

* US Registered Nurse (USRN) — active or previously registered
* Currently based in the Philippines
* Excellent written English and strong natural writing ability
* Good understanding of the US healthcare system and medical practice environment
* Strong research and fact-checking skills
* Ability to simplify complex healthcare subjects without compromising accuracy
* Ability to independently identify relevant topics and content opportunities
* Ability to adapt writing style and voice for a founder, company, physician, or medical practice
* Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently

Experience with healthcare content writing, LinkedIn, personal branding, newsletters, social media management, website/SEO content, or writing for physicians and healthcare organizations will be an advantage.

A Note About AI

We are looking for a writer first.

AI tools can be used for research, brainstorming, fact-finding, and improving efficiency. We are not looking for someone who primarily relies on AI to generate their writing.

Original thinking, natural writing, healthcare knowledge, research, and fact-checking are fundamental to this engagement.

Paid Writing Assignment

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a fixed-fee paid writing assignment.

The assignment will include:

* 1 LinkedIn post based on a healthcare topic provided by us
* 1 LinkedIn post on a US healthcare or medical-practice-related topic selected and researched independently by the writer
* 1 healthcare blog/article of approximately 800–1,000 words
* 1 short newsletter of approximately 400–600 words
* 5–6 relevant content ideas for future LinkedIn posts, blogs, articles, or newsletters
* 1 revision of a submitted piece based on our feedback

Sources should be provided for factual, regulatory, statistical, coding, billing, or other healthcare-specific claims used in the content.

Paid Assignment Fee: USD 75

The USD 75 is a fixed fee for the complete assessment assignment. It compensates candidates for the time spent completing the assessment and does not represent a per-post, per-article, hourly, or future freelance rate.

Ongoing Engagement

The initial engagement will be project-based.

For the right writer, our intention is to continue with regular paid assignments covering LinkedIn content, newsletters, blogs, articles, website content, personal branding, and content for our healthcare clients.

Rates and scope for ongoing project work will be agreed separately and will not be calculated based on the assessment fee.

As the volume and scope of work develop, we will also evaluate transitioning the role into full-time employment.
