## Channel Overview
- Faceless YouTube channel — narrated content, no on-camera host
- Long-form, narrated, educational content (~20–30 min videos)
- Calm, trustworthy tone — not high-energy or clickbait-driven
- A fully written voiceover script is provided for every video
This is a **single, combined role** — one person handling both video editing/motion graphics and graphic design/branding for the channel.
## About the Role
You'll take a finished voiceover script and handle its full visual life: editing the video, building the motion graphics that explain it, and designing the channel's brand assets (logo, banner, thumbnails). This channel relies heavily on animated charts, comparisons, and explainer-style graphics, so **strong 2D animation and motion graphics skills are the top priority** — alongside solid graphic design and branding ability.
### What You'll Do
**Video Editing & Motion Graphics**
- Edit long-form videos synced to a provided script, with a clean, polished, calm finish
- Build 2D motion graphics and animated visuals that explain ideas and numbers clearly — comparison charts, simple data visualizations, animated diagrams, callouts, lower-thirds
- Source relevant, calm B-roll/stock footage that matches the tone of the narration
- Add captions, transitions, background music, and clean audio balancing
- Keep pacing calm and unhurried — no fast-cut or high-adrenaline editing style
**Graphic Design & Branding**
- Design the channel logo, banner/header, and overall visual identity
- Design clear, benefit-driven thumbnails for each video — no alarmist or sensational framing
- Establish and maintain brand guidelines: warm, muted color palette, rounded shapes, clean and readable typography, grounded imagery over flashy visuals
- Build a flexible template system for recurring graphic elements (both motion graphics templates and static design templates)
- Design supporting assets as needed (end screens, subscribe graphics, promo visuals)
### What You Need
- **Strong 2D animation / motion graphics skills (After Effects or equivalent) — the most important skill for this role**
- Proficiency in a major editing platform (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut)
- Strong graphic design skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, Figma, or similar)
- Ability to design a full brand system — logo, banner, thumbnails, templates — not just individual graphics
- Comfort building simple animated charts/graphs from data
- Strong sense of typography, contrast, and readability
- Restraint — knows when not to add unnecessary visual noise or hype elements
- Good English comprehension
- Reliable workstation for long-form video and design work
### Bonus Points
- Experience with explainer-style or educational video content
- Experience animating charts, graphs, or comparison visuals
- Experience designing for trust-driven or educational brands
- Understanding of YouTube CTR best practices without relying on sensational framing
- Familiarity with royalty-free stock platforms
