Social Media + LinkedIn Outreach VA | Excellent Written English Required

**Pay:** Around $3 USD per hour
**Hours:** Approximately 5-6 hours per day, Monday to Friday
**Working hours:** Must substantially overlap UK business hours

## About the Role

I run AI Services Essex, a UK business helping small businesses with professional websites, Voice AI receptionists and business automation.

I am looking for a reliable, highly organised and proactive VA to take responsibility for two important areas of the business:

1. LinkedIn outreach, lead follow-up and appointment setting
2. Growing and managing my Facebook and Instagram presence

This is **not simply a Canva or social media posting role**.

I need someone who is an excellent written communicator, organised, confident speaking with business owners and able to take ownership of a structured outreach process without needing constant supervision.

I already have my LinkedIn outreach messages, content plan, content ideas and brand guidelines prepared, so you will not be starting from scratch.

## LinkedIn Outreach & Lead Follow-Up

I connect with new business owners on LinkedIn every week.

You will manage my LinkedIn outreach directly and be responsible for moving prospects through an existing follow-up process.

This will include:

* Sending a prepared market research message to appropriate new connections
* Monitoring responses and replying naturally and professionally
* Following up at the correct time when someone has not replied
* Sending prepared Voice AI demonstration messages at the appropriate stage
* Sending a further follow-up approximately two weeks later where appropriate
* Sending our Smart Website demonstration message at the next stage
* Keeping conversations warm and friendly if someone says they are not interested
* Recognising when a conversation should be passed to me
* Making sure interested prospects move quickly to the next step
* Keeping every prospect accurately tracked

The initial outreach messages are already written.

However, when somebody responds, I need you to use good judgement and reply naturally rather than simply copying and pasting a script.

You will be communicating directly with UK business owners on my behalf, so your written English must be excellent.

Messages should sound **warm, mature, friendly and professional**. They should never sound robotic, overly salesy or too casual.

## LinkedIn Access

Direct management of my LinkedIn account is an important part of this role.

You must be:

* Comfortable securely accessing and managing my LinkedIn account as part of your daily work
* Comfortable using a UK VPN/secure connection that I provide where required
* Careful with account security and login details
* Able to work consistently from the agreed setup rather than changing devices or locations unnecessarily
* Confident handling conversations independently while knowing when to ask me before responding

## LinkedIn Prospect Tracking

I already have an existing LinkedIn prospect spreadsheet which may need some tidying up.

You will be responsible for keeping this completely up to date.

The tracker will include information such as:

* Prospect name
* Business name
* LinkedIn profile
* Date connected
* Date first outreach was sent
* Response received
* Follow-up dates
* Voice AI demonstration message sent
* Voice AI follow-up sent
* Smart Website message sent
* Current status
* Next action
* Notes
* Appointment booked

The aim is that at any time we can immediately see:

* Who needs contacting today
* Who needs following up
* Who has responded
* Who is interested
* Who is not interested
* Who has booked a call
* What the next action is

Accuracy and organisation are extremely important.

## Appointment Setting

When a prospect would like to:

* Have a market research call
* See a Voice AI receptionist demonstration
* See a Smart Website demonstration

You will arrange the appointment and put it into my calendar.

You will make sure the calendar appointment contains the information I need, including the prospect's name, company, reason for the call and any useful conversation notes.

You will then update the prospect tracker so the appointment and next steps are clearly recorded.

## Facebook & Instagram

I also want someone who can help me properly grow my social media presence.

You will help manage and grow:

* My personal Facebook profile
* AI Services Essex Facebook business page
* Instagram

This will include:

* Creating and repurposing content
* Creating Reels and short-form video content
* Creating posts and carousels where appropriate
* Writing captions and strong hooks
* Scheduling and publishing content
* Engaging with relevant business owners and accounts
* Responding to comments and messages
* Helping grow the accounts organically
* Looking for opportunities to start genuine conversations
* Monitoring what content performs well
* Suggesting ways to improve reach and engagement

I already have a large 180-day content plan, content topics, brand guidelines and content ideas available.

I do not need someone who simply creates pretty Canva graphics.

I want somebody who understands that the goal of social media is to increase **visibility, engagement, conversations and ultimately enquiries**.

## Facebook Groups & Communities

I am already a member of a number of relevant local Facebook Groups and business communities.

You will help manage this activity by:

* Posting suitable content in relevant groups
* Checking and following the rules of each group
* Engaging naturally with other members
* Checking previous posts for new comments or responses
* Responding appropriately
* Making sure potential opportunities are not missed
* Keeping a shared Google Sheet showing what has been posted and where

The Facebook Group tracker should make it easy for us to see:

* Group name
* Location
* Group link
* Posting rules
* Date last posted
* What was posted
* Comments or engagement received
* Replies completed
* Leads or opportunities generated
* Next action or next posting date

## Tracking & Reporting

I do not want to have to continually ask what has been done.

I am looking for somebody who takes ownership of their work and keeps me proactively updated.

You will maintain clear shared trackers covering:

* LinkedIn outreach sent
* Follow-ups due
* Responses received
* Interested prospects
* Zoom calls booked
* Facebook Group activity
* Social media content posted
* Engagement
* Account growth
* Leads or opportunities generated

I would also like a short regular progress update telling me:

* What has been completed
* What results have been achieved
* What conversations or opportunities need my attention
* What is planned next
* Any suggestions you have for improving results

## Working Hours

You must be available for approximately **5-6 hours per day, Monday to Friday**, with your working hours substantially overlapping normal UK business hours.

This is important because you will be:

* Responding to UK business owners
* Monitoring LinkedIn conversations
* Booking appointments
* Responding to social media engagement
* Monitoring Facebook Groups and comments
