About Us
We're Premium Invention, a fast growing e-commerce company selling premium solar-powered security cameras to property owners across North America. We're expanding our product line, and we need the person who makes everything we ship look premium. Every page, every image, every pixel.

About This Role
You own how Premium Invention looks everywhere a customer sees us. Every landing page, every ad, every email, every product image. Premium is our positioning, and you are the person who makes premium visible.
This is not a support role where someone hands you a brief and you make it pretty. You will have real input on how the brand looks and feels. We hire designers for their taste and their opinions, not just their execution.

What You Will Own
- Product landing pages and campaign pages, designed separately for desktop and mobile. 80% of our buyers are on mobile, so mobile is not an afterthought.
- AI-generated product imagery. Lifestyle scenes, hero shots, feature visuals using tools like Midjourney or Flux. You should be fast and comfortable working with AI as part of your daily workflow.
- Ad creative for Meta and Google. Email designs for Klaviyo campaigns and flows.
- The design system that keeps everything consistent. Spacing, components, typography rules, color usage.
- Occasional product support: packaging layouts, instruction manuals, product branding placement. This is maybe 10% of the role, not the core.

What We Are Looking For
- 4+ years designing for e-commerce or DTC brands. Your portfolio must include live website URLs with shipped pages. Concept work and Dribbble mockups alone will not qualify.
- Premium visual taste. Your work should feel like it belongs next to Apple or a well-funded Kickstarter hardware launch. Clean, minimal, confident.
- Obsessive attention to detail. You are the person who notices 4 pixels off before anyone else does.
- Fast with AI, finished by hand. You use AI image tools for speed and volume, but your judgment and polish make the final output. You can show us the AI draft vs. your finished version and explain every change you made.
- Expert-level Figma. Clean auto-layout, organized components, files that another designer could pick up without a walkthrough.
- You design for conversion, not applause. You think about what makes someone click, scroll further, or buy. You bring ideas to the table, not just execute what is asked.
- Comfortable with time tracking through Hubstaff. Full-time hours with at least 3 to 4 hours of daily overlap with North American mornings for real-time collaboration.

What We Offer
- $2,200 to $3,000/month depending on experience.
- Full-time, long-term position.
- Short feedback loops and real ownership. No design-by-committee, no three rounds of approvals. You ship work that customers see within days, not months.

Who should NOT apply
- If your portfolio is only concept work, school projects, or unreleased designs. We need to see live pages that real customers have used.
- If you have never designed for products sold at a premium price point. Our products compete against cheaper alternatives, and the design needs to match the positioning. Premium product design requires a completely different instinct.
- If you only manage other designers or agencies but do not personally design. This is a hands-on role.
- If your experience is only print, branding identities, or logo design with no web or e-commerce work.
- If you cannot commit to full-time hours with time tracking. This is not a side project.
