About Us
Mazzamuto Construction is a U.S.-based general contractor focused on residential remodeling and light commercial work. We also operate Bella Casa Cabinets, which designs, sells, and installs custom and semi-custom cabinetry. Combined revenue is approximately $3–4 million. We are looking for strong financial leadership to improve reporting, control spending, and support better decision-making.
The Role
We are hiring a Fractional CFO to work alongside our CFO. This is a hands-on role focused on building reliable financial reports, improving visibility into the numbers, and helping the company make smarter spending and growth decisions. The right person will bring a strong, objective voice on where we should spend, where we should cut back, and how we stay on track with our financial goals.
Key Responsibilities
Build clear, useful financial reports and dashboards the leadership team can actually use
Create and maintain rolling cash flow forecasts
Improve job costing and WIP (Work in Progress) reporting
Analyze profitability by job and by segment (Construction vs. Cabinets)
Identify overspending and recommend specific cuts or reallocation of resources
Help set and track financial goals
Strengthen budgeting, forecasting, and month-end processes
Support better day-to-day financial decision-making
What We’re Looking For
Strong background as a CFO, Controller, or senior finance leader
Experience with construction, remodeling, or project-based businesses is a plus
Ability to build practical reports and explain the numbers clearly
Willingness to give direct, honest recommendations on spending (what to stop, what to cut, and what to fund)
Comfortable working remotely and collaborating with the existing team
Detail-oriented, proactive, and practical
Engagement Details
Fractional / part-time to start (typically 10–40 hours per week)
