JOB OVERVIEW

We are specifically looking for someone who has personally helped start an Amazon FBA business from the ground up. You must have previous hands-on experience taking an FBA business from product research and sourcing through launch and ongoing operations. SmartScout experience is required.
Amazon FBA Launch & Product Research Specialist – SmartScout Experience Required
We are looking for an experienced Amazon FBA specialist to help us build and launch a new Amazon FBA business from the ground up.
This is NOT an entry-level Amazon VA position. We want someone who has previously worked with successful Amazon FBA businesses and understands the entire process from product research and sourcing through launching products and managing Seller Central.
SmartScout experience is REQUIRED.
Responsibilities
Help develop our Amazon FBA business from the startup stage
Conduct detailed product and niche research using SmartScout
Identify profitable products and opportunities based on real data
Analyze:
Demand and estimated sales
Competition
Seller count
Pricing history
Profit margins
Amazon/FBA fees
ROI
BSR
Market saturation
Brand and category restrictions
Research competitors, brands, sellers, and categories
Identify suppliers, manufacturers, wholesalers, or sourcing opportunities
Help evaluate Wholesale, Online Arbitrage, and/or Private Label opportunities
Assist with setting up and managing Amazon Seller Central
Help with product listings, keywords, inventory, FBA shipments, and launch strategy
Create organized spreadsheets showing researched products and recommendations
Explain why a product should or should not be pursued
Help us build systems and SOPs that can eventually be delegated to additional team members
Required Experience
You should have:
2+ years of hands-on Amazon FBA experience preferred
Experience helping launch or grow an Amazon FBA business
Strong experience with SmartScout
Strong understanding of Amazon Seller Central
Experience with Amazon product research and sourcing
Understanding of FBA fees, margins, ROI, Buy Box, BSR, competition, and sales velocity
Ability to identify bad opportunities and potential risks before money is invested
Strong Google Sheets/Excel skills
Good written and spoken English
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently
Experience with Keepa, SellerAmp, Helium 10, Jungle Scout, or similar Amazon tools is a plus.

You should be comfortable helping an owner who is building a new Amazon business and providing guidance based on your previous experience.
There is an opportunity for this position to grow into an Amazon FBA Manager / Operations Manager role as the business grows.
Hours & Compensation
Starting: 20 hours per week
Pay: $6–$8 USD/hour depending on experience
Schedule: Flexible
Opportunity for increased hours, raises, and performance bonuses based on results.
