JOB OVERVIEW

Senior Helpers of Cincinnati is a locally owned in-home senior care agency serving the Greater Cincinnati and Hamilton County, Ohio area. We're looking for one remote person to run our caregiver hiring pipeline - sourcing, screening, interviewing, tracking, and onboarding.

This is the whole pipeline, not a piece of it.

Our workday runs on US Eastern time, so we'd want enough overlap to reach applicants during their day.

WHAT YOU'D BE DOING

1) SOURCING AND SCREENING
- Work applications as they come in through our applicant tracking system
- Phone screen candidates for experience, reliability, transportation, availability, and comfort with hands-on personal care
- Follow up with the ones who went quiet or missed a call. A lot of good home care hires come from the second and third try, not the first.

2) INTERVIEWING
- Run structured video interviews through our interviewing platform
- Score candidates against a set rubric and give us a clear recommendation with your notes

3) TRACKING
- Keep a live hiring tracker in Google Sheets: every applicant, what stage they're in, next action, and date
- A short daily pipeline update so we always know the numbers
- Chase missing documents until they are in hand

4) ONBOARDING
- Send and collect new hire paperwork: I-9, W-4, direct deposit, policy acknowledgments
- Order background checks and TB tests and follow them through to completion
- Set up new caregivers in our scheduling system and assign their online training
- Confirm each caregiver is fully cleared before their first shift

WHO WE THINK FITS
- Experience recruiting or onboarding for a US home care, home health, staffing, or healthcare agency. Agency-side experience means more to us than general VA work.
- Excellent spoken English. You would be on the phone with American applicants every day.
- Comfortable with a high volume of outbound calls and texts
- Solid Google Sheets skills. The tracker would be yours to build and keep current.
- Enough overlap with US Eastern business hours to reach people during our day
- Reliable internet, a quiet place to take calls, and a headset
- Nice to have: WellSky / ClearCare, Hireology, or Care Academy experience

PAY
