About us

Bua Health is a digital healthcare provider focused on weight loss in Ireland, with plans to expand internationally. We help people access clinically appropriate weight loss care, including GLP-1 medications, through a doctor-led telehealth platform. We're small, moving fast, and we care a lot about how our brand shows up in people's inboxes.

The role

We're building a long-term email nurture programme for people who come through our funnel and qualify for our weight loss programme but aren't ready to start on day one. Our job is to stay useful, credible, and warmly present in their inbox until they are.

We want one person to own the machinery of this programme end to end: the strategy, the content, the design, and the setup in Mailchimp. You will not be managing live campaigns day to day. What we need from you is everything up to and including the moment sequences are ready to run.

For the right person this is a long-term role. We're planning to expand the scope into social media content over time, so if you've worked on social campaigns as well, please tell us about it in your application.

What you'll do

- Design the overall nurture strategy: segmentation, sequence architecture, cadence, goals per segment.
- Write the email content. Warm, clear, human, medically responsible. Never spammy and always engaging.
- Handle the visual design. Canva is our preference, but use whatever tool you're strongest in.
- Generate any imagery you need using Gemini.
- Build and configure everything in Mailchimp so the sequences are ready to fire.

What we need you to be great at

- Email nurture strategy for a considered purchase (healthcare, wellness, coaching, or similar high-trust categories).
- Writing that reads like a real person wrote it, not a template.
- Visual design that feels calm, premium, and healthcare-appropriate. No stock-photo clichés, no over-designed noise.
- Mailchimp: automations, segmentation, tagging, conditional logic, and enough deliverability basics to not tank our sender reputation.

Nice to have

- Prior work in digital health, wellness, or digital healthcare. Campaigns in those categories would be a real advantage.
- Experience running or producing social media content, especially organic content pillars for a brand.

The AI part

We're AI-first and we expect you to be too. Use AI heavily in your workflow, for drafting, ideation, image generation with Gemini, and refinement. What we do not want is AI slop: generic openings, empty phrases, over-emojied subject lines, or bland AI-generated imagery. If you can tell the difference between a good AI-assisted email and a lazy one, we want to talk.
