JOB OVERVIEW

The role

You'll run our remote logo redraw team of 6, the people who turn rough, low-res, or AI-generated logos into crisp, print-ready vector artwork. You own quality, throughput, and the smooth handover into our van design team. When something's wrong with a file, you're the one who spots it and sorts it before it ever reaches a customer.

This is a lead role, not a hands-off manager. You'll still get into the artwork yourself when it matters, but your main job is keeping 6 people producing accurate work, on time, every day.

What you'll do:
- Lead and manage a remote team of 6 doing logo redraws and retracing
- Oversee the redrawing of raster and AI-generated logos into clean, scalable vector files
- Set and hold the quality bar; nothing sloppy gets through to print
- Handle any file or design issues that come up, fast
- Work closely with the van design team so jobs flow smoothly from redraw to layout to print
- Manage the queue, spot bottlenecks, and keep turnaround times tight
- Train, support, and give feedback to your team; raise standards over time

What you must have:
- Proven experience running a remote team (this is non-negotiable, tell us the size, where they were, and what you were responsible for)
- Strong hands-on vector skills in Adobe Illustrator: redrawing, retracing, cleaning up messy logos
- A sharp eye for detail; you notice the 1px misalignment nobody else does
- Clear written and spoken English, and the discipline to keep a remote team accountable
- Reliable setup: good computer, stable internet, quiet space to work

Nice to have:
- Signage, print, or vehicle-graphics background
- Experience coordinating between a production team and a design/output team
- Familiarity with cut files, print-ready specs, or large-format work

Hours & setup:
Remote. 40 hours a week, working across BST and GMT to stay in sync with our main UK hub. Long-term role for the right person.

Pay rate:
$6-7 USD per hour, depending on experience.
