Static Ad Designer,
We're a US-market ecommerce brand launching this autumn, looking for a talented static ad designer to join us part-time with a view to a long-term role as we scale.
The work
You'll design static image ads for
Volume to start: roughly 10 to 20 statics per week, scaling up as we grow. We iterate fast: winners get variations, losers get killed without ceremony.
Requirements
Proven experience designing static ads for Meta specifically, with examples of ads that ran and performed
Strong grasp of direct response principles: hierarchy, hooks, readability at feed size on a phone
Experience in health, wellness or beauty niches strongly preferred
Comfortable designing for an older audience, meaning larger type, high contrast, clarity over cleverness
Figma, Photoshop or Canva Pro, your choice, but files must be organised and editable
Able to follow a compliance checklist. Our niche has advertising restrictions, so some words and visual styles are off-limits. We provide the rules; you follow them exactly
Good written English and reliable communication
Available roughly 10 to 20 hours per week to start
Nice to have
Experience with AI image tools (Midjourney, Flux, or similar) blended into static workflows
Basic motion skills for turning statics into simple animated versions
Pay and terms
Hourly or per-asset, your preference; state your rate. Long-term monthly arrangement for the right person once we've done a paid trial batch of 5 ads.
How to apply
Reply with:
Your portfolio, specifically static ADS, not general graphic design. Ads first.
Your three best-performing statics if you know results, and what they were
One sentence on how you'd design a static ad aimed at US women over 50 so it doesn't look like every other ad in the feed
Your rate and weekly availability
Applications that skip point 3 or send only logo or branding portfolios won't be reviewed. Start your reply with the word "SUNRISE" so we know you read this far.
