Thread the Word is an Australian e-commerce brand, part of a small family of related brands. Our customers are celebrating the moments that matter — our content gets to be part of the best moments of people's lives. We're hiring a full-time Social Media & Influencer Coordinator to own our social presence end to end.
THE ROLE
This is not a posting-schedules-only job — you'll run our creator and influencer program, produce and edit content, and be the voice of our brand in every comment and DM.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own and run the Thread the Word social media content calendar across Instagram,
- Run our influencer and UGC program day to day: sourcing and briefing creators, managing gifted and paid collaborations, and collecting content through platforms including Referwo, Social Cat and UseClip
- Create Stories and short-form video with creators — briefing them, then cutting, captioning and polishing their raw content into publish-ready posts and Reels
- Edit photos and videos to brand standard (colour, crops, captions, music, hooks)
- Reply to customer messages, comments and DMs across all our social channels promptly and warmly, escalating order issues to the right person
- Work directly with the Director and marketing team on the
- Report weekly on content performance, follower growth, engagement and creator campaign results
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- 2+ years running social media for a brand (e-commerce strongly preferred), with examples you can show
- Hands-on experience with influencer/UGC campaigns — you've briefed creators and turned their content into results
- Strong photo editing skills (Photoshop, Lightroom, Canva or equivalent) and video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere, or equivalent) — you will be tested on both
- Genuinely proficient with AI tools — you use them daily to work faster and better (e.g. ChatGPT/Claude for captions, briefs and planning; AI image/video features in Canva, CapCut or similar) and can show us how they fit into your workflow
- Excellent written English — your comment replies ARE our brand voice
- Confidence working directly with an Australian founder: proactive, organised, comfortable owning a calendar without being chased
- Reliable home office setup: fast internet with backup, capable computer
NICE TO HAVE
Experience with Meta Business Suite / a scheduling tool (Later, Planoly, Buffer, etc.), Klaviyo or similar
WHAT WE OFFER
- PHP 50,000–65,000/month depending on experience
- Full-time, permanent, DIRECT EMPLOYMENT through our Philippine entity — NOT an agency or BPO placement
- 13th-month pay + SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG + paid leave
- Remote (Philippines), hours aligned to Australian Eastern Time (Manila is only 2 hours behind Sydney)
- 45-hour week including approx. 5 hours on a weekend day, scheduled as part of your regular work week (e.g. Monday–Friday plus Saturday morning, Manila time; rest day Sunday)
- You'll report to the Director (Australia) and work alongside counterpart coordinators on our sister brands
