I'm a US-based employee health and benefits advisor. I help companies with 100 to 1500 employees improve their group health insurance and benefits programs. I'm hiring ONE appointment setter who ALREADY KNOWS THIS INDUSTRY to cold call HR Directors, CFOs, and Controllers and book 15-minute introductory meetings on my calendar.
READ THIS BEFORE APPLYING: This post is only for candidates with real experience in US employee benefits or group health insurance. That means you have done at least ONE of the following:
Cold called or set appointments for a US benefits broker, benefits agency, or insurance brokerage (group health, ancillary, or voluntary benefits)
Set appointments or sold for a PEO, TPA, or payroll/HR services company (ADP, Paychex, Gusto, Insperity, or similar)
Worked a US health insurance account at a BPO or call center (enrollment, member services, provider relations, or broker support) AND have separate B2B cold calling experience
Worked in licensing or back-office support for a US benefits agency (quoting, RFPs, renewals, census work) AND have separate B2B cold calling experience
If none of those describe you, please do not apply. I have a separate posting for general B2B appointment setters. Applications without benefits experience will be deleted.
Why I'm requiring this: You will be talking to HR Directors and CFOs about their group health renewal. When a prospect says "we're self-funded," or "our renewal came in at 18%," or "we already work with a broker on our medical and a different one on ancillary," I need you to understand what that means and respond intelligently, not freeze or read the wrong script branch. At this level, industry knowledge is the difference between a booked meeting and a hang-up.
What you'll do:
Call from a lead list I provide (company, contact name, title, direct phone). No list building required.
Open conversations with HR and Finance decision-makers about their upcoming benefits renewal
Handle industry-specific objections credibly. A script and objection guide are provided, but you'll have latitude because you know the space.
Book qualified meetings into my calendar (Calendly) and send confirmation
Log every call outcome in a tracking sheet and give me a 5-minute end-of-shift summary
Flag intel you pick up on calls (renewal months, current broker, carrier, funding type). This makes you more valuable to me, and I pay attention to it at raise time.
Schedule:
6 to 10 hours per week to start, split across 3 or 4 days
US business hours: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM Arizona time (MST), which is roughly 12:00 AM to 7:00 AM Philippine time. This is a NIGHT SHIFT role. Only apply if you already work nights or can genuinely commit to it.
Consistent performers grow into 15 to 20+ hours per week and a higher per-appointment bonus.
Requirements:
Verifiable US employee benefits or group insurance experience per the list above. I will check, so be ready to name the company, the account, and what you actually did.
At least 1 year of B2B cold calling or appointment setting for US clients
Excellent spoken English with a clear, confident, executive-appropriate phone presence
You can explain, in plain English, what a group health renewal is and who at a company owns that decision
Quiet home office, 25+ Mbps fiber internet, backup power and internet plan, quality USB headset
Reliable and honest. I review call recordings, and I'd rather hear about a real slow week than see inflated numbers.
What I provide:
Lead lists with decision-maker names and direct numbers
Call script, objection guide, and voi
US phone number and dialer at no cost to you
Weekly pay via Wise, never delayed
A long-term seat. I'm building a repeatable appointment engine, not running a 2-week campaign.
HOW TO APPLY (applications that skip any step are deleted):
Start your application with the word RENEWAL so I know you read this post.
In 4 to 6 sentences, describe your benefits or insurance experience specifically: the company or account, your role, who you were calling, and what you were booking or selling. Name the industry terms you used daily.
Answer these two questions in your own words (no copying from Google, I can tell):
(a) What is a group health renewal, and why would an HR Director or CFO care about it?
(b) A prospect says: "We already have a broker we like." What would you say next?
Record a 60 to 90 second voice recording (
Confirm: (a) you can work the night-shift hours above, (b) your internet speed (paste a speedtest.net link), (c) your expected hourly rate within the posted range, and (d) your start date.
I'll reply to the top candidates within 48 hours to schedule a short video interview.
