# Claude Code / AI-Assisted Developer – Finish Existing CRM

We are looking for a capable and reliable developer who is experienced with **Claude Code and AI-assisted software development** to help finish an existing CRM system.

This is **not a project starting from scratch**.

The CRM is already substantially built and functional. I have been developing it myself using Claude Code, but I no longer have enough time to finish the remaining features, testing and polish.

Your job will be to take over the existing project, understand the current codebase, and use Claude Code to efficiently bring the CRM to a production-ready state.

## What You'll Be Doing

- Review and understand the existing CRM and codebase
- Work through a clear list of remaining features and issues
- Use Claude Code extensively to develop and troubleshoot
- Test features properly rather than simply accepting AI-generated code
- Fix bugs and edge cases
- Improve existing functionality where required
- Commit changes cleanly using Git
- Keep the existing architecture unless there is a genuine reason to change it
- Provide a short daily update showing what has been completed and any blockers

The goal is simple:

**Finish the CRM, make sure it works properly, and get it ready for everyday business use.**

## Who We're Looking For

You do NOT need to be a senior software engineer.

I am more interested in someone who is:

- Very comfortable using Claude Code
- Technically capable and able to understand an existing codebase
- Good at debugging
- Comfortable with Git/GitHub
- Able to test their own work
- Resourceful and able to solve problems independently
- Detail-oriented
- Reliable and communicative
- Comfortable taking ownership of a project and pushing it through to completion

Experience building internal tools, dashboards, CRMs or business applications is a big advantage.

## Important

We are specifically looking for someone who **actually uses Claude Code for development**, rather than someone who has only experimented with ChatGPT or other AI tools.

You should understand how to give Claude Code context, work through larger tasks, review its changes, debug problems, and prevent it from making unnecessary changes to an existing application.

## Initial Project

Your first project will be completing an existing CRM for a UK business.

You will receive:

- Access to the existing codebase
- An explanation of how the CRM currently works
- A list of remaining requirements
- Guidance on the intended finished product

From there, I want someone who can take ownership and make progress without needing constant supervision.

There may be ongoing development and automation work available for the right person after the CRM is completed.

Initially project-based / part-time, with the possibility of ongoing work.

### Working Hours

Flexible. You will be working with a UK-based business, but you do not need to work full UK hours as long as communication and progress are consistent.

### What Matters Most

I am not looking for someone who can simply prompt an AI.

I am looking for someone who can **use AI to get software finished.**
