This is not an entry-level role.
I’m looking for an *experienced* paid advertising specialist to manage and grow top of funnel ads for a brand new funnel for an established online business and course.
I’m looking for someone with a demonstrated track record of profitably managing ad spend—not someone who will learn paid advertising with my budget.
Responsibilities
Paid Advertising
Develop and manage a paid advertising strategy, initially focused on Meta/Facebook and Instagram.
Create campaigns and ads, manage budgets, and continually optimize performance.
Build a systematic process for testing creative, hooks, copy, audiences, offers, and landing pages.
Manage prospecting and retargeting and identify opportunities to scale successful campaigns.
Recognize underperforming campaigns quickly and limit wasted spend.
Tracking & Reporting
Set up reliable tracking and attribution across the funnel.
Track the metrics that actually matter, including cost per lead, cost per qualified prospect/application, customer acquisition cost (CAC), conversion rates, revenue, and ROAS.
Establish our break-even acquisition costs so we know what we can profitably spend to acquire a customer.
Provide concise regular reporting that answers: What's working? What's not? Why? What are we doing next?
Creative Strategy
Turn existing content, testimonials, podcast material, and customer insights into advertising concepts.
Work with our social media assistant to identify high-performing organic content worth testing as ads.
Share winning hooks, messages, pain points, and creative with our social media assistant so paid and organic marketing continually inform one another.
What I'm Looking For
I am looking for someone with the experience to build out a tracking system for top of funnel ads for a new funnel. I am an established coach with an online course and high ticket offer, but having an evergreen funnel is new to me.
I want someone who can help me distinguish between an ad problem, funnel problem, offer problem, or sales-conversion problem and recommend changes accordingly.
I intend for this to be a long term, stable, part time position. I am building a team, not just offering a short term gig. The position will offer more hours at the beginning while the systems are being set up and campaigns are being tested, and then will transition to fewer hours on a performance-based monthly retainer.
To Apply
I'm much more interested in your results than your certifications.
1) Please describe 2–3 examples of paid campaigns you personally managed. For each, briefly tell me:
What was being sold and at what price
Approximate monthly and total ad spend
Cost per lead and/or customer acquisition cost
ROAS or other primary profitability metric
What you personally handled
What you changed or tested that improved results
2) Also tell me about one campaign that didn't work. How quickly did you recognize the problem, how much was spent before you changed course, and what did you learn?
3) Write *ADS* at the beginning of your subject line when you apply.
I’m really excited to find someone who’s great at this and build a strong, long-term working relationship. If that might be you, I’d love to hear from you.
