JOB OVERVIEW

We are a Home Health company based in Laredo, Texas, and we’re looking for an experienced Bilingual Virtual Assistant to join our team.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience working in Home Health, particularly in authorizations and scheduling, and has strong knowledge of Medicare insurance and requirements.

Qualifications

* At least 1 year of Home Health experience
* Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
* Strong experience handling insurance authorizations
* Experience with patient scheduling and coordination
* Strong knowledge of Medicare insurance, benefits, and requirements
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Able to work independently in a work-from-home setup
* Experience with Home Health software/EMR systems is a plus

Responsibilities

* Process and follow up on insurance authorizations
* Coordinate and manage patient schedules
* Verify and review Medicare insurance coverage and requirements
* Communicate with patients, insurance providers, clinicians, and other members of the healthcare team
* Maintain accurate patient and authorization records
* Assist with other administrative and operational tasks related to Home Health services
