ABOUT US
Button Up Media is a growing media company producing video content for our brand and clients. Our project load is increasing, and we need an experienced editor who helps us stay ahead of schedule.

THE ROLE
This starts as a part-time role (about 20 hours/week). Perform well, and the plan is to bring you on full-time within 2-3 months. You'll take video projects from raw footage to polished final delivery with minimal hand-holding.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Edit video projects end-to-end: cuts, pacing, story structure
- Work across short-form and long-form content (social clips, YouTube, promos)
- Captions/subtitles, transitions, and basic motion graphics
- Music selection, sound design, and audio cleanup
- Color correction and grading
- Apply feedback quickly and hit deadlines every time
- Keep project files organized and communicate progress proactively

REQUIREMENTS (NON-NEGOTIABLE)
- 5+ years of professional video editing experience
- Fluent English - written and spoken
- Portfolio/showreel required - applications without a portfolio link will not be reviewed
- Strong skills in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve (After Effects is a plus)
- Reliable editing computer (HD/4K capable) and stable, fast internet
- About 20 hrs/week availability now, with capacity to go full-time in 2-3 months
