U.S. Insurance Agency Operations and Agent Support Contractors
We are a growing U.S. insurance agency looking for experienced independent contractors to help us in 2 important areas:
1. Insurance administration and operations
2. Insurance agent support and sales coaching
You do NOT need to be experienced in both areas.
We expect to hire people with different strengths. If you are excellent at insurance administration, licensing, carrier appointments, and customer service, we want to hear from you.
If your strength is supporting, coaching, training, or managing insurance agents, we want to hear from you too.
If you have strong experience in BOTH areas, even better. We may be able to offer significantly more hours and responsibility.
This is not a basic virtual assistant position. We are specifically looking for people with U.S. insurance experience.
## AREA 1: INSURANCE ADMINISTRATION AND OPERATIONS
We are looking for someone who can take ownership of administrative and operational problems and make sure they actually get resolved.
Experience with any of the following is especially valuable:
• Helping agents obtain insurance licenses in additional U.S. states
• NIPR and Sircon
• Nonresident insurance licensing
• License renewals and tracking
• Carrier contracting and appointments
• Following up with insurance carriers and uplines
• Insurance customer service
• Policy administration
• NSF and failed payment follow up
• Cancellations and billing problems
• Helping customers with claims paperwork and required documents
• Following up with carriers regarding claims and policy problems
• Keeping CRM records accurate and organized
We want someone who follows through.
If a carrier tells you something needs to happen next Thursday, we want someone who remembers Thursday, follows up, and gets the issue resolved.
## AREA 2: AGENT SUPPORT AND SALES COACHING
We are also looking for someone who understands insurance sales and knows how to help agents become better.
Experience with any of the following is especially valuable:
• Supporting insurance agents during the sales day
• Answering agent questions about products, carriers, applications, and customers
• Listening to insurance sales calls
• Coaching agents on objections and closing
• Helping agents improve their sales conversations
• Training and onboarding new agents
• Monitoring agent performance
• Helping agents who are struggling
• Managing or supervising insurance agents
• Quality control and compliance call reviews
• Recruiting and interviewing insurance agents
We especially want someone who enjoys helping agents improve and knows the difference between simply managing people and actually making them better at selling.
## INSURANCE EXPERIENCE
Experience working with a U.S. insurance agency, IMO, FMO, insurance carrier, or insurance call center is strongly preferred.
Experience with health insurance, supplemental health, life insurance, Medicare, ACA, final expense, or senior insurance products is particularly helpful.
Experience with GoHighLevel or EnrollHere is also a plus.
If you currently hold an active U.S. insurance license, please tell us. A U.S. insurance license is not required, but it would be a significant advantage.
## WHO WE WANT
We want people who solve problems instead of simply reporting them.
You should be organized, dependable, persistent, and comfortable communicating with American customers, insurance agents, carriers, and business partners.
Excellent spoken and written English is required.
This is an independent contractor opportunity with a growing agency. The amount of work available will depend on your experience, skills, availability, and the areas you can help us with.
Someone who can successfully handle both insurance operations and agent support may have the opportunity for considerably more hours and responsibility.
