Google & Meta Ads Specialist
Client Location: Boston, USA
Job Type: Full-time, Remote
Schedule: Must be available for at least 2 hours during the US Eastern workday, ideally between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM Eastern Time.
About Us:
We are a small marketing agency supporting clients across a variety of industries. Many of our team members have worked with us for years because we value clear communication, steady work, respect, accountability, and a positive team culture.
We are looking for an experienced Google & Meta Ads Specialist who can independently manage paid advertising across multiple client accounts.
This is not an entry-level role. You should already know how to build, manage, troubleshoot, and improve campaigns while staying current with the latest tools, automation, AI features, and strategies on both platforms.
You should be comfortable managing up to 10 clients at a time, with different industries, goals, and advertising budgets.
Job Overview:
As our Google & Meta Ads Specialist, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and optimization of paid media campaigns across our client portfolio. You will work with our directors, account managers, creative team, and other marketing staff to develop advertising strategies that support each client's business objectives.
Clients may include local service businesses, retail and e-commerce companies, professional services, B2B businesses, and other industries.
Some clients will have relatively modest advertising budgets, while others may have larger budgets and multiple campaigns running simultaneously. You must be able to adjust your strategy appropriately rather than applying the same approach to every account.
A major part of this role is staying current. We expect you to stay informed about changes to Google and Meta best practices, test useful new strategies, and understand when new tools should and should not be used.
Main Responsibilities:
Google Ads:
-Build and optimize Search, Performance Max, Shopping, Demand Gen, YouTube, and remarketing campaigns as appropriate.
-Manage keywords, search terms, negatives, bidding, budgets, targeting, assets, and ad copy.
-Monitor budget pacing, wasted spend, campaign structure, and optimization opportunities.
-Stay current with Google Ads automation, AI tools, bidding strategies, and platform changes.
Meta Ads:
-Build and optimize lead generation, conversion, e-commerce, awareness, and remarketing campaigns.
-Manage audiences, placements, budgets, creative testing, and Advantage+ tools.
-Monitor lead quality, creative fatigue, and campaign efficiency.
-Stay current with Meta platform changes, targeting, AI tools, creative strategies, and measurement updates.
Tracking & Measurement:
-Set up and troubleshoot Google Ads conversions, GA4, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, and Conversions API.
-Understand UTMs, attribution, CRM tracking, and call tracking.
-Verify that campaign data is accurate before making optimization decisions.
Strategy & Optimization:
-Develop strategies based on each client's industry, budget, geography, seasonality, and business goals.
-Optimize toward meaningful KPIs such as qualified leads, sales, CPA, ROAS, and revenue.
-Run structured tests and document important changes.
-Recommend improvements to landing pages, offers, creative, or messaging when needed.
-Multi-Client Management
-Manage up to 10 active client accounts with different budgets and priorities.
-Keep budgets, optimizations, tests, and next steps organized.
-Communicate problems early and work independently without constant oversight.
Reporting & Communication:
-Explain what changed, why performance changed, and what should happen next in a simple and clear format
-Prepare internal reporting using tools such as AgencyAnalytics.
-Participate in strategy discussions internally
-Translate campaign data into practical recommendations.
-Prepare external-facing reports based on company format
Qualifications:
Required:
-At least 3 years of hands-on Google Ads and Meta Ads experience.
-Experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously.
-Strong knowledge of campaign strategy, optimization, testing, and budget management.
-Experience with GA4, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, call tracking, and conversion tracking setup.
-Lead generation and e-commerce campaigns.
-Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
-Excellent written and spoken English.
Preferred:
Experience with any of the following is a plus:
-Marketing agency environments.
-Managing 8–10+ advertising accounts.
-Google Merchant Center.
-Meta Conversions API.
-GoHighLevel or similar CRM platforms.
-AgencyAnalytics
-Google Ads or Meta certifications.
Staying Current:
Paid advertising changes quickly. We expect you to stay informed about new Google and Meta campaign types, AI tools, automation, bidding strategies, targeting changes, creative best practices, attribution, and privacy-related measurement updates.
We also expect good judgment. You should be able to test new tools intelligently rather than automatically adopting every platform recommendation.
Skills We Are Looking For:
-Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
-Excellent organization and time management.
-Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently.
-Ability to explain advertising performance clearly.
-Good judgment and willingness to challenge underperforming strategies.
-Dependability, accountability, curiosity, and a strong work ethic.
Our Work Style:
-We value people who are honest, consistent, thoughtful, and dependable.
-We do not expect every campaign to improve every month, but we do expect you to understand what is happening in the accounts you manage, communicate clearly, test reasonable solutions, and take ownership of your work.
Benefits:
-Part-time remote work with the potential to become full-time.
-Long-term opportunity for the right person.
-Flexible hours with overlap during the US Eastern workday.
-Supportive team environment.
-Opportunity to work across multiple industries and expand your responsibilities over time.
