We are a European e-commerce company looking for a skilled Supplier Sourcing & Procurement Specialist for a long-term collaboration.
This is NOT a standard Amazon VA or product research position. For every qualified supplier, you must document how you found them and provide evidence of their relationship to the relevant brand, manufacturer or distribution chain whenever possible.
Your main job will be to find high-quality European B2B suppliers, importers, master distributors and authorized distributors, contact them on behalf of our company, open wholesale accounts and obtain their catalogues and price lists. All supplier communication, wholesale accounts and catalogues must remain under our company identity and company-controlled
Main responsibilities:
Find EU importers, master distributors and authorised distributors.
Research the distribution chain of specific brands.
Find suppliers as close as possible to the manufacturer/source.
Use trade fairs, exhibitor directories, LinkedIn, industry databases, brand websites, company registries and other professional sources.
We are NOT interested in simple Google lists of wholesalers.
Verify suppliers and identify the correct purchasing/export/sales contact.
Contact suppliers professionally using our company identity.
Apply for wholesale/B2B accounts.
Follow up with suppliers.
Obtain price lists, catalogues, EAN/GTIN lists and stock lists when available.
Obtain MOQ, shipping terms, payment terms and volume discount information.
Keep an organised record of all suppliers researched and contacted.
Initial categories:
Beauty & Personal Care, Pet Supplies, Kitchen & Home.
Important:
You will NOT perform Amazon product profitability analysis. We do this internally.
We are specifically looking for someone who can find less obvious suppliers and companies higher up the supply chain, not wholesalers that can be found in a few minutes with a basic Google search.
Experience in procurement, supplier sourcing, wholesale sourcing, import/export research, supply-chain research or B2B business development is strongly preferred.
Excellent written English is required.
To apply, start your application with: EU SOURCING
Then answer:
What experience do you have finding B2B suppliers, distributors or importers?
How would you find the official European importer/distributor for a specific brand?
What research methods or tools would you use besides normal Google searches?
Give one example of a difficult supplier/distributor you successfully found and explain how you found them.
What is your expected hourly rate?
Shortlisted applicants will receive a paid sourcing test.
We are looking for one reliable person for a long-term collaboration, not an agency selling generic supplier lists.
