Company Overview. BKG is a Dutch home-renovation group. Our brands include Sanitairstudio (bathrooms) and Tegelstudio (tiles), plus the wider BKG group. Our founder and marketing lead film a lot of short-form video, and we need a strategist who plans every shoot so the on-camera talent only has to show up and film.
Job Description. You turn product and topic picks into ready-to-shoot packages: concept, hooks, script, shot list and a simple shooting guide — plus ad concepts. You hand everything over “pre-chewed” to talent and editors. You direct; you don’t film. You’ll plan shoots across all three areas: our bathroom brand (Sanitairstudio), our tile brand (Tegelstudio) and the wider BKG group.
Major Functions.
• Turn topic/product picks into ready-to-shoot packages (concept, hooks, script, shot list, shooting guide).
• Write hooks and scripts that hold attention on Reels / TikTok / Shorts.
• Create ad concepts and angles for the paid team to test.
• Hand everything over so non-professional presenters only have to show up and film.
Required Skills.
• 2+ years creating short-form concepts/scripts that performed.
• Strong hook and storytelling instinct.
• Can write clear, foolproof shoot guides for non-professional presenters.
• Excellent written English.
• Nice-to-have: home/interior niche, ad creative, green-screen/top-pick formats, light Dutch.
Availability. ~18 hrs/week, flexible, with some overlap with European mornings for briefings.
Expectations. You make it so the talent never has to invent anything: every shoot is fully briefed. You think in hooks and retention, and you write so a non-pro can follow it word for word.
Working Conditions / Salary. $430/month. Part-time now, with room to grow as our content output scales.
Bonuses. Paid Time Off after 1.5 months · salary reviews every 2–3 months · professional-development budget · second monitor after 6 months · new laptop after 2 years.
How to Apply. Start your message with the word “HOOK” so we know you read the full post. Then, briefly:
1. Describe a short-form piece you conceived that performed well: the hook and why it worked.
2. Our on-camera talent are not professional presenters and don’t want to invent anything. In 2–3 sentences: how do you write a brief so they only have to show up and film?
3. Give us one hook line, right now, for a 30-second video about a modern bathroom renovation. Just the hook.
4. (Optional) A link to work you’ve done. Only what exists — don’t build anything for this.
We read every application that starts with the codeword and answers the questions specifically. Generic or copy-paste replies aren’t considered.
