JOB OVERVIEW

I am looking for an Etsy shop owner or experienced Etsy virtual assistant to test Cayana, a new web application for managing Etsy listings.

This is a small, paid product-testing project—not a permanent full-time position. The initial test should take approximately 60–90 minutes. There may be opportunities for further paid testing if we work well together.

IMPORTANT REQUIREMENT

You must either:

• Own and currently manage an active Etsy shop; or
• Regularly manage an Etsy shop for a client and have the shop owner’s permission to connect it to Cayana for testing.

The shop should preferably have fewer than 100 active listings. General knowledge of Etsy without access to a real shop is not sufficient for this particular project.

WHAT THE TEST INVOLVES

You will:

• Create an account and connect an Etsy shop using Etsy’s official authorization process
• Import the shop’s listings into Cayana
• Explore the application while sharing your screen
• Perform a few genuine listing-management tasks
• Make selected low-risk changes and sync them to Etsy
• Explain what you find clear, confusing, useful or disappointing
• Report any bugs or problems you encounter

You will never be asked to share your Etsy password. We will agree in advance which listings and changes are safe to use for testing.

WHO I AM LOOKING FOR

You should:

• Have genuine, recent experience managing Etsy listings
• Be comfortable speaking English during a screen-sharing session
• Be willing to think aloud and give honest feedback
• Have reliable internet and screen-sharing capability
• Be available for a video call during mutually agreed hours

Professional software-testing experience is not required. Authentic Etsy experience and thoughtful feedback are more important.

PAYMENT

The initial payment is $30 for a 60–90 minute session, including a short written summary afterwards.

If it is a client’s shop, do you have permission to connect it to a third-party application for testing?
Are you comfortable sharing your screen and speaking aloud during the test?
Briefly describe one real listing-management task you would like to try using Cayana.
