JOB OVERVIEW

Part-Time Insurance Virtual Assistant – Personal & Commercial Lines Quoting

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Part-Time Insurance Virtual Assistant (VA) to join our growing insurance team.

This position requires hands-on experience quoting BOTH Personal Lines (PL) and Commercial Lines (CL). Please apply only if you have experience working with both lines of business through carrier portals and/or insurance quoting systems.

We are especially interested in candidates with experience working with the carriers and markets listed below.

Position: Part-Time Insurance Virtual Assistant

Primary Responsibilities
Quote both Personal Lines and Commercial Lines
Create and maintain client accounts in QQ Catalyst (Vertafore)
Review new binders and issued policies for accuracy and enter all required information into QQ Catalyst
Prepare ACORD applications, certificates, and related insurance documents
Send certificates and documents to banks, lenders, and other third parties
Prepare invoices
Send and follow up on client recommendations
Request and organize loss runs
Process endorsement requests
Track upcoming renewals and update applications
Assist with policy servicing and account management for both Personal and Commercial Lines
Maintain accurate and organized client and policy records

Current Agency Management System
QQ Catalyst (Vertafore)

Experience with QQ Catalyst is strongly preferred. However, candidates with extensive experience using other insurance agency management systems may also be considered.

Carrier and Market Experience
We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience quoting and servicing accounts with one or more of the following carriers and markets:
Bamboo
Aegis
Progressive
Kemper
Travelers
Distinguished
Honeycomb
ReinsurePro
Various non-admitted carriers submitted through surplus lines brokers
Please indicate which carriers and markets you have personally used for quoting.

Required Qualifications
Previous experience working for a U.S. insurance agency, brokerage, or insurance service provider
Proven experience quoting BOTH Personal Lines and Commercial Lines
Experience navigating insurance carrier portals
Strong knowledge of insurance quoting workflows and submissions
Experience with ACORD applications and insurance documentation
Experience handling endorsements, renewals, certificates, loss runs, binders, and policy servicing
Experience with an insurance agency management system; QQ Catalyst experience is highly preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Ability to work independently and follow established procedures
Reliable internet connection
Availability to work part-time during agreed-upon U.S. business hours

Important: We are specifically looking for a VA who is comfortable and experienced in quoting BOTH Personal Lines and Commercial Lines. Candidates with strong hands-on experience with our listed carriers and markets will be given priority.
