JOB OVERVIEW

**Video Editor for YouTube Channel – Long-Term Opportunity**

I’m looking for a reliable and skilled video editor to help edit videos for my YouTube channel.

My channel focuses primarily on informative/educational content. Most videos are talking-head style videos where I’m explaining topics, teaching, or walking viewers through something.

**What I’m looking for:**

* Experience editing YouTube videos
* Strong understanding of pacing and viewer retention
* Ability to add B-roll, text, graphics, zooms, sound effects, etc. when appropriate
* Clean and professional editing style
* Good communication
* Reliable and able to meet deadlines
* Someone interested in working with me long term

You should be comfortable editing longer-form YouTube videos as well as potentially creating short-form clips from the content.

**IMPORTANT – How to Apply:**

Please send me a **60-second talking-head video** introducing yourself.

In the video, explain:

* Why you think you would be a good fit for this position
* Your video editing experience
* What types of videos/channels you have edited for in the past
* What editing software you use

Please also include links to your portfolio or examples of videos you have edited.
