Company: Pure Velocity LLC is a full-service commercialization partner for sunscreen and personal-care products for a wide range of brands, from formulation through finished product.
Stage: Fast-growing. ~$1M revenue in 2025, on pace for 3M in 2026.
Small, high-trust team - Report directly to: Owner/CEO
Location: Remote but must overlap 4hours/day with 8:00am–5:00pmUS Pacific time. Role will require Chinese and US Vendor Management.
The Role:
You'll be the analytical backbone the CEO leans on, turning a growing but messy business into something that can be measured, forecasted, and scaled, so the owner can focus on growing the business.
This is an analyst / business-operations role for someone who can take ambiguous, incomplete information and impose structure on it and improve business processes. Proficiency in AI tools and OpenAI/Claude is very important.
Job Tasks:
Own our CRM data (HubSpot). Our deal records are inconsistent; many are missing dollar amounts and close dates, and deal stages aren't standardized. Your first job is to design a clean, minimal structure and get the data trustworthy, then keep it that way.
Build the reporting the CEO runs the business on. A weekly view of revenue, pipeline by stage and by owner, win rates, average deal size, and account concentration. It needs to be clear enough to glance at, honest enough to act on.
Sales analysis: Find where growth is really coming from, which deal types close, where deals stall, and where the risks are. Focus on finding the bottlenecks in the system and finding solutions.
Supplier & vendor qualification. Research and compare manufacturers, packaging suppliers, raw-material vendors, and testing labs on price, capability, minimum order quantities, lead time, certifications/compliance, and responsiveness. Build comparison matrices and give a recommendation.
Technical & market research: Competitor teardowns, market sizing, ingredient and regulatory landscape scans, packaged into briefs the CEO can use in meetings.
Growth & operations support. Build repeatable processes, prep briefing docs, track initiatives to completion, and take on whatever moves the needle as the business grows. Projects include Pre-validated product buildout, Amazon store buildout, and low-MOQ product buildout.
