We run a long-running photography publication and we're looking for one writer to join the team.
This is not a general content writing job. We only want to hear from people who actually shoot. If you can't hold a conversation about metering, crop factor, or why a client's file looks soft, this isn't the right fit and you'll be filtered out in the first round.
What you'll do:
Write a minimum of 25 articles per month — photography news, gear releases, industry trends, technique
Follow the photography world closely enough to spot a story before it's everywhere
Write in clear, natural English with your own voice
Requirements:
You are a practicing photographer (any level, any genre — but you shoot)
Working knowledge of cameras, lenses, lighting, and post-processing
You follow photography news and know who the major players are
Zero AI-generated writing. Not for drafts, not for "polishing," not for outlines you then rewrite. We check, and we will end the arrangement immediately if we find it. AI is fine for research and fact-checking — never for the words we publish.
When you fill out the application form, enter f8-and-be-there in the "Referral code" field
Reliable internet and the ability to hit deadlines without being chased
What we offer:
$250 USD per month, paid on a fixed schedule
Paid time off after 6 months
Your byline on published work
Long-term, stable arrangement — we're looking for someone who stays
How to apply:
Do not reply here with a generic message. Applications are only accepted through this form:
Applications without the form completed will not be reviewed.
