JOB OVERVIEW

We are a US software company building an AI estimating platform for commercial construction. Our system reads bid invitations and performs quantity takeoffs from drawing sets. We need an experienced estimator to review that output, correct it, and build the final bid.

This is not data entry. You will be reading real civil and architectural drawing sets and d ---------- whether the quantities are right.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Perform and verify quantity takeoffs for concrete, sitework, paving and masonry scopes
- Review AI-generated takeoffs against the drawings and flag what is wrong or missing
- Read plan sets, sections and details, and pull dimensions from the drawings themselves
- Help assemble bid packages with the scope written out clearly
- Track which scopes were measured and which still need a human decision

YOU MUST HAVE
- Real estimating or quantity surveying experience on commercial projects
- The ability to read a full construction drawing set without hand holding
- Confidence with concrete, paving, sitework or masonry scopes specifically
- Strong written English, since you will be writing notes a US estimator reads
- Reliable internet and the ability to overlap with US business hours

NICE TO HAVE
- Bluebeam, PlanSwift, On-Screen Takeoff or similar
- Civil or structural drafting background
- Experience with US drawing conventions and imperial units

TO APPLY
Start your message with the word CONCRETE so I know you read this. Then tell me:
1. The largest project you have estimated and what scope you handled
2. What takeoff software you have used
3. One thing you check first when you open a new drawing set

Applications that do not start with CONCRETE will not be read.
