Wedding Video Editor (Premiere Pro / DaVinci) — Long-Term, Part-Time

ABOUT US
Ever After Films is a wedding cinema studio based in Naples, Florida. We film weddings, engagements, and events for couples who care about story and craft. Our editing standard is editorial and cinematic, not cookie cutter. We are looking for one editor to grow with us long term, not a rotating bench of freelancers.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Edit wedding highlight films of 4 to 6 minutes from 300 to 800 GB of raw footage
- Cut vertical teasers of 30 to 60 seconds for Instagram Reels and TikTok
- Sync multicam angles and external audio from lav mics, field recorders, and DJ board feeds
- Clean and mix speech audio so vows and toasts are clear and warm
- Color correct and grade to match our reference look
- Cull and organize raw media into a consistent project structure
- Deliver on schedule with correct file naming and export presets

WHAT WE NEED
- 2 or more years editing real wedding or event footage, not school projects
- Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve
- Confident with multicam sync, audio repair, and color grading
- Genuine musical instinct for pacing and cut timing
- Reliable internet capable of moving large media files daily
- A computer that handles 4K footage without crashing
- Written English strong enough for clear notes and revision requests
- A consistent weekly schedule and a reply within 24 hours on weekdays

NICE TO HAVE
- After Effects for titles and simple motion graphics
- Frame io, Dropbox, or Google Drive review workflows
- Speed ramping, sound design, and subtitle work

THE SETUP
- Fully remote, part time to start at roughly 20 hours per week, with room to grow into full time
- 500 to 800 USD per month depending on experience and turnaround speed
- Paid per project through Wise or similair
- Long term role with raises tied to quality and consistency
- We provide raw footage, licensed music, reference films, and a written style guide
- Short paid test project before any hire, so your time is respected
