We are looking for a reliable and organized person to help with grant research and grant applications for a U.S. nonprofit organization.
This is a long-term remote position. Grant-writing experience is preferred, but we are also open to someone with strong research and writing skills who is willing to learn and grow in grant writing.
Responsibilities
• Research federal, state, local, foundation, corporate, and community grants • Find grant opportunities that match our nonprofit programs • Review grant eligibility and requirements • Help prepare and write grant applications • Organize grant documents and application requirements • Maintain a grant calendar and track deadlines • Research funding organizations and partnership opportunities • Follow up on applications and reporting requirements • Keep organized records of grants researched, submitted, approved, or declined
Requirements
• Strong written and spoken English • Strong online research skills • Good writing and communication skills • Organized and detail-oriented • Able to work independently and meet deadlines • Willing to learn about U.S. nonprofit grants and funding programs • Long-term interest in nonprofit grant research and writing
