JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a designer who can take specifications, electrical single line diagrams, and civil drawings to create a BIM model and detailed quantity survey for the underground conduit, cable, low voltage/ICT, and associated electrical works for a new Electrical Vehicle charging facility. ??The candidate must have both a strong background in electrical design/engineering and in 3D BIM modeling. ??

The deliverables are:
A detailed Bill of Materials required for the job?
A 3D model showing all the underground conduit for the electrical, control wiring, and low voltage systems. ??

The purpose is:
Hand off the BOM to our procurement agent for purchasing
The 3D BIM Model used by out in field civil installation team to do the correct trenching and trench sizing
Take out all the guesswork for our conduit installation team how best to stack conduits, and having to keep referring to single line diagrams. The field team should be able to take this model and use it as their main reference to quickly and effectively run all the underground conduit work.
