Processing Department Specialist (Full-Time)
United Diagnostic Services (UDS) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Processing Department Specialist to join our growing team. This is a full-time position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with medical documentation, and understands the importance of accuracy, confidentiality, and teamwork.
Position Overview
The Processing Department Specialist is responsible for managing sensitive patient records, organizing medical documentation, assisting with report processing, and ensuring all information is handled accurately and securely. This position plays a vital role in supporting our medical screening operations.
Responsibilities
Process and organize confidential patient files with a high level of accuracy.
Review documentation for completeness and quality.
Work efficiently with multiple computer systems and databases.
Maintain strict patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and administrative staff to ensure timely completion of reports.
Prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
Assist with other processing and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Computer proficiency and the ability to learn new software quickly.
Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.
Professional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Previous experience in healthcare, medical records, or medical administration is preferred but not required.
Training
United Diagnostic Services will provide comprehensive training on our medical screening services, workflows, and internal systems. No prior knowledge of our specific screening programs is required—we are looking for someone who is eager to learn and committed to excellence.
