About Us
We are a growing public accounting firm looking for a detail-oriented, reliable, and highly qualified Certified Public Accountant (CPA) based in the Philippines to assist our team with external audit engagements, assurance work, and bookkeeping tasks.

The Role
This is a remote position where you will perform jobs that include both accounting and audit preparation. You will handle substantive audit testing, workpaper documentation, alongside routine bookkeeping tasks for accounting.

Key Responsibilities
Audit & Assurance: Prepare structured, fully-referenced audit workpapers in accordance with relevant auditing standards. Conduct analytical procedures and substantive testing on key financial statement accounts (Cash, AR, Revenue, Inventory, etc.).
Audit Evidence & Documentation: Review client documentation (invoices, receipts, bank statements) for accuracy, completeness, and proper accounting treatment.
Full-Cycle Bookkeeping: Perform day-to-day transaction recording, general ledger maintenance, month-end closes, bank reconciliations, and trial balance mapping.
Discrepancy Identification: Identify bookkeeping errors, missing documentation, or control risks, and report findings directly to the engagement manager.

Required Qualifications
Credential: Active CPA License (PRC or international equivalent).
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience combining external audit work (Big 4 or mid-tier firm background preferred) and hands-on bookkeeping/accounting.
Tech Stack: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online, Xero) and audit tools. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Index/Match) are mandatory.
Communication: Written and verbal English skills to collaborate smoothly with the offshore team.

Compensation & Work Logistics
Monthly Compensation: $950 USD / month
Schedule & Hours: Full-Time 40 hours per week).
Timezone Overlap: Must be willing to work with an overlap with EST business hours for daily check-ins and huddles.
Location: (100% Remote).
Probation - 6 Months
