JOB OVERVIEW

AdaCo Construction is seeking a full-time remote tea ---------- mber who can manage our residential renovation administration, and oversee day-to-day accounting and financial reporting.

This is a hands-on role combining system administration and company financial management. The right person must be able to maintain accurate company and project-level financials.?

Construction Administration Responsibilities

Set up new projects and maintain accurate project records
Maintain organized project files, photos, contracts, invoices, and client documentation
Identify missing information or inconsistencies before they cause billing or production delays
Help monitor project timelines, margins, and invoicing status
Accounting and Financial Responsibilities

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
Enter and categorize bills, expenses, payments, deposits, and credit-card transactions
Maintain accurate project-level job costing
Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, loans, and vendor statements
Prepare customer invoices and monitor collections
Review subcontractor invoices against approved scopes and completed work
Track committed costs, actual costs, gross profit, and projected project margins
Prepare weekly cash-flow, A/R, A/P, project P&L, and company financial reports
Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks Online
Assist with month-end close and coordinate with the company’s CPA or tax professionals
Identify financial discrepancies, duplicate charges, missing invoices, and margin issues
Preferred Qualifications?

Construction bookkeeping or financial management experience
Strong QuickBooks Online experience
Experience with ---------- , CompanyCam, Airtable, or similar platforms
Experience supporting residential renovation contractors, property managers, institutional SFR companies, or REO operations
Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills
Strong written English and professional communication
Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving, multi-market construction company

Full-time availability required
Must be available during regular U.S. Eastern Time business hours
