JOB OVERVIEW

# Senior Meta Ads Media Buyer — DTC Scaling + High-Volume Creative Testing

We are hiring an experienced **Senior Meta Ads Media Buyer** to help aggressively scale a fast-growing ecommerce brand.

We are not looking for someone whose primary job is maintaining the account.

We want someone who knows how to **scale Meta spend, test creative at high volume, identify winners quickly, and turn a massive creator ecosystem into profitable growth.**

## Our Situation

* Approximately **$2,500/day in Meta spend today**
* Ecommerce / DTC brand
* Large creator ecosystem
* Approximately **100 new creator/UGC videos coming in every week**
* Purchase-focused advertising
* Strong creative production engine already in place
* Our goal is to **scale significantly**

Creative volume is NOT our bottleneck.

Our challenge is building the media-buying infrastructure that can properly test, analyze, scale, and rotate this amount of creative.

## The Opportunity

Imagine receiving **100 new videos every single week**.

Your job is to build a system that answers:

Which videos get tested?

How quickly can we test them?

How much spend does each test need?

How do we identify winners without wasting massive amounts of budget?

How do we scale winning creatives aggressively?

How do we continue feeding new creative into Meta without disturbing campaigns that are already performing?

How do we prevent hundreds of dead or irrelevant ads from accumulating?

How do we use creative performance data to tell our creator team what to produce next?

And most importantly:

**How do we scale from our current spend level to significantly higher spend while maintaining acceptable profitability?**

## What You'll Own

You will own the Meta media-buying strategy.

Responsibilities include:

* Manage and scale approximately $2,500+/day in Meta spend
* Build a scalable creative-testing infrastructure capable of handling **100+ new videos per week**
* D ---------- how creative should enter the account
* Determine appropriate testing budgets and testing methodology
* Rapidly identify winning creators, hooks, concepts, angles, offers, and formats
* Scale winning ads and campaigns
* Protect established profitable campaigns from unnecessary changes
* Build clear systems for:

* Testing
* Graduation
* Scaling
* Creative retirement
* Creative rotation
* Increase spend when performance supports it
* Identify opportunities to scale horizontally and vertically
* Maintain clean campaign architecture as creative volume grows
* Prevent unnecessary account and ad-volume bloat
* Analyze creative performance at a deeper level than just individual-ad ROAS
* Communicate winning creative patterns back to our creator and creative teams
* Help determine what the next 100 videos should look like based on performance data

## We Are NOT Looking for a Conservative Account Manager

We are looking for a **growth-minded media buyer**.

We do not want someone whose entire strategy is:

"Pause bad ads."

"Don't touch anything."

"Reduce the number of campaigns."

"Maintain current ROAS."

We want someone who understands when to protect winners — but also knows how to **push an account forward aggressively and intelligently**.

The goal is not simply to make the account cleaner.

The goal is to create an account structure that allows us to:

**TEST MORE ? FIND MORE WINNERS ? SCALE MORE ? SPEND MORE PROFITABLY.**

## The Person We're Looking For

You should have significant hands-on experience scaling DTC/ecommerce brands on Meta.

Ideally, you have personally managed accounts spending at least:

**$100,000+/month**

Preference will be given to candidates who have successfully scaled accounts materially beyond that level.

We especially want experience with brands where **creative volume is very high**.

You should understand:

* High-volume creative testing
* Meta campaign architecture
* Scaling profitable campaigns
* CBO / ABO
* Advantage+ Sales campaigns
* Broad targeting
* Creative fatigue
* Creative iteration
* Hook and concept analysis
* UGC / creator advertising
* Partnership ads / creator ads
* Budget scaling
* Audience and account consolidation
* Meta learning and delivery
* Attribution
* Pixel + Conversions API
* CPA / CAC
* ROAS / MER
* Incremental spend decisions
* Creative testing economics

We want someone who can answer:

**"If I give you another $10,000 of spend, where would you put it and why?"**

## Our Previous Problem

Historically, we were adding large numbers of new creatives into many campaigns every few days.

Some of those campaigns were already profitable.

We did not have a clearly defined testing environment, graduation system, or creative retirement process.

As a result, the account accumulated a very large number of active ads.

We are fixing that.

But we do NOT want to solve the problem by simply testing less.

We want to **test even more creative — just with a much better system.**

## Application Challenge

This question is the most important part of your application.

Assume the following:

* Current Meta spend: **$2,500/day**
* Ecommerce brand
* Approximately **100 new creator videos every week**
* Goal: aggressively scale spend while maintaining profitable acquisition
* Strong existing campaigns already generating purchases
* Historically too many new creatives were inserted into existing winning campaigns

Design the Meta Ads system you would use.

Please explain:

1. How would you process **100 new videos every week**?

2. Would you test all 100? If not, how would you d ---------- what gets tested?

3. How many testing campaigns or ad sets would you use?

4. Would you use ABO, CBO, Advantage+ Sales, or another structure? Why?

5. How much budget would you allocate to testing?

6. How much spend does a creative need before you make a decision?

7. How do you prevent Meta from giving all the spend to one early winner and starving the other tests?

8. What determines whether an ad is:

* Killed
* Given more time
* Declared a winner

9. Once you find a winner, what exactly happens next?

10. Do you duplicate it into another campaign, leave it where it is, or both?

11. What happens if the entire testing campaign becomes highly profitable?

12. How do you scale from **$2,500/day ? $5,000/day ? $10,000/day+**?

13. How do you d ---------- when the account is ready for another budget increase?

14. How would you prevent hundreds of inactive or low-delivery ads from accumulating again?

15. What information would you send back to our creator team so the next 100 videos are better than the previous 100?

Be specific.

We are not looking for one "correct" Meta structure.

We want to understand **how you think about scaling.**

## Required With Your Application

Please include:

1. The largest Meta account you have PERSONALLY managed
2. Highest monthly spend you personally controlled
3. The starting spend and the spend level you scaled it to
4. Industry / product category
5. Approximate CPA/CAC or ROAS before and after scaling, if you are able to share
6. Whether you personally created the media-buying strategy
7. Experience managing high-volume creative testing
8. How many new creatives you were accustomed to testing per week
9. A Loom walkthrough of a Meta account you have managed, with confidential information removed
10. Your answer to the application challenge above

Please start your application with:

**"100 VIDEOS"**

Applications without this phrase will not be reviewed.

## Important

We are NOT looking for someone who has only:

* Managed small local-business campaigns
* Spent $5K–$10K/month
* Followed an agency SOP
* Uploaded ads for another strategist
* Optimized campaigns without being responsible for scaling decisions

We want someone who has actually been responsible for **growth.**

## Compensation

Competitive monthly compensation + potential performance incentives for the right person.

We care much more about finding someone who can help us scale profitably than finding the cheapest media buyer.

## Long-Term Opportunity

Our creative engine is growing rapidly.

If you can build a system that turns our creator volume into predictable profitable acquisition, there is significant room to grow with the company.

Our goal is simple:

**We want to become very good at producing creative — and exceptionally good at turning that creative into scalable Meta spend.**
