JOB OVERVIEW

About Us

We are a growing U.S.-based premium production company creating cinematic wedding films, commercial campaigns, branded content, corporate productions, social media content, and longer-form video projects.

We are looking for an experienced professional video editor who can take professionally shot raw footage and turn it into polished, emotionally compelling, high-end films.

This is not primarily a social media assistant position.

Your primary responsibility will be professional post-production and video editing.

We need someone who understands storytelling, pacing, music, dialogue, sound design, color, and how to create work that feels premium—not simply assemble clips on a timeline.

We are looking for someone interested in a long-term position who can grow with our production company as our client volume increases.

What You'll Edit

Projects may include:

Luxury wedding highlight films
Wedding trailers and teasers
Full wedding films
Ceremony and reception edits
Commercial advertisements
Brand campaigns
Corporate videos
Interviews
Testimonials
Documentary-style content
Multicamera productions
YouTube and longer-form content
Social media cutdowns created from larger productions
Primary Responsibilities
Professional Video Editing

You will be responsible for taking projects from organized raw footage through final delivery.

This includes:

Reviewing and selecting footage
Building compelling storylines
Multicam editing
Syncing multiple cameras and professional audio
Dialogue editing
Music selection and editing
Sound design
Audio mixing and cleanup
Color correction
Cinematic color grading
Creating smooth and intentional transitions
Speed ramping when appropriate
Stabilization
Noise reduction
Basic visual effects
Titles and graphics
Creating multiple versions and aspect ratios
Exporting optimized final deliverables
Managing revisions efficiently
Wedding Film Editing

You must understand that great wedding films are about story and emotion, not simply beautiful shots.

You should be comfortable working with:

Bride and groom preparation
First looks
Ceremony footage
Vows
Speeches
Reception footage
Drone footage
Multiple camera angles
Separate professional audio recordings

You should be able to use vows, speeches, music, natural audio, and visual storytelling to create emotionally powerful wedding films.

Commercial & Brand Editing

You should also be comfortable editing professional commercial work including:

Brand campaigns
Corporate storytelling
Product videos
Social advertising
Interviews
Testimonials
Promotional films
Lifestyle campaigns

You should understand how commercial editing differs from wedding storytelling and be able to adapt to different brand identities.

Technical Requirements

Strong professional experience with at least one major editing platform is required:

Preferred:

Adobe Premiere Pro

Also accepted:

DaVinci Resolve
Final Cut Pro

Experience with the following is highly preferred:

Adobe After Effects
Adobe Audition
DaVinci Resolve for professional color grading
Photoshop

We want exceptional quality, but we also operate a business with deadlines.

You must be capable of producing excellent work efficiently.

You should be comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting agreed-upon turnaround times.

Depending on the project, turnaround expectations may include:

Wedding teaser: 24–72 hours
Social media cutdowns: 24–72 hours
Wedding highlight film: approximately 5–10 business days
Commercial projects: based on project scope and deadline

Quality should never be sacrificed simply to work quickly, but efficiency is extremely important.

Required Experience

Applicants should ideally have professional experience editing:

Wedding films
Commercial productions
Brand content
Multicamera footage
Professional audio

Experience editing only TikToks, Reels, or basic CapCut videos is not sufficient for this position.

Social media editing experience is useful, but we are specifically seeking someone with professional post-production capabilities.
