JOB OVERVIEW

Video & Podcast Editor (AI + Motion Graphics) — Contract-to-Hire Trial
We are seeking a high-level, versatile Video & Podcast Editor to handle both long-form podcast production and visually impressive, storytelling-driven short-form content. We are looking for a specialist who can clean and produce full podcast episodes while using AI tools and custom motion graphics to turn podcast highlights and raw scripts into premium videos (30–60 seconds) similar to the style ---------- on Hiring Process: We are evaluating top-tier talent for a long-term, full-time position. We start all candidates with a paid test project (1–2 test deliverables) to assess editing speed, audio/video polish, and overall workflow before transitioning to a full-time monthly retainer.

What We Are Looking For
We are NOT looking for someone who simply cuts clips, adds basic auto-captions, or relies on generic templates.

We ARE looking for a creator who:

Handles End-to-End Podcast Production: You know how to edit multi-camera long-form video, balance and polish audio (noise reduction, EQ, leveling), and create smooth transitions between speakers.

Repurposes Content Creatively: You can spot the best 30–60 second "golden nuggets" from long podcast episodes and package them into viral-ready short-form assets.

Master of AI Tools: You are proficient in using tools like Midjourney, Runway, Pika, or ElevenLabs to generate custom visuals, B-roll, or audio assets that elevate the story.

Motion Graphics Expert: You use Adobe After Effects to enhance both long-form intros/lower-thirds and short-form videos with fluid typography, custom graphics, and slick visual hooks.

Storyteller at Heart: You understand pacing, narrative structure, and viewer retention across both long and short formats.

Trial Structure & Long-Term Compensation
Phase 1: Paid Test Project (Immediate)
Scope: 1–2 test videos (Script and raw media provided).
Compensation: Paid per test video at a flat rate (agreed upon prior to start).
Goal: Evaluate quality, AI utilization, response time, and editing workflow.
