START YOUR APPLICATION WITH THE WORD "UNCAPPED" OR IT WILL BE DELETED WITHOUT READING.
We run a lead generation company and we're building a commission-only sales team to sell lead-gen and appointment-setting packages directly to US contractors - roofing, HVAC, solar, plumbing, remodeling, landscaping, any home-services vertical. No restriction.
Here's the part most job posts hide: we don't have a fixed pricing model or commission structure yet, on purpose. We want people who've ALREADY done this exact job somewhere else, on commission, and know cold how the money actually works - what contractors pay, what a rep's cut looks like, how the process runs from first contact to signed client. You bring the playbook. We build the offer around what's proven to work.
WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY DO
- Sell contractor clients on paid lead-gen / appointment-setting packages - your pipeline, our leads, or a mix
- Run the full sales process: prospect or work provided leads, qualify, handle objections, close, get paid
- Help us set real pricing - what a contractor pays per lead, per appointment, or per retainer, and what a profitable, fair commission structure looks like on top of that
- Report back on what's converting - vertical, deal size, objection patterns - so we sharpen the offer fast
WHO WE WANT
Someone who has personally closed contractor clients before - not generated leads for someone else to close, not dialed appointments and handed them off. Closed. Got paid. You know exactly how a sales rep makes real money when cost-per-lead is low, because you've lived it. You've survived on 100% commission before and you know how to manage the slow weeks.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Real closed contractor deals in the last 12 months you can name with numbers (vertical, deal size, what you personally earned)
- 100% commission-only (or clearly majority-commission) experience - not base-heavy sales
- A full sales process you can walk through end to end, with real follow-up cadence and real objection handling
- Fluent, persuasive English - you're selling directly to US business owners
- Self-sufficiency - you don't need a script or leads spoon-fed to start producing
BONUS POINTS
- Own contractor-industry relationships or a warm network already
- Depth in a high-ticket vertical (roofing, solar, HVAC) where deal sizes are biggest
- CRM/dialer experience (Close, HubSpot, GoHighLevel, PhoneBurner, Aircall, Mojo)
- You've trained or managed other closers or appointment setters
THE DEAL
100% commission, uncapped, no ceiling ever. We're building the exact structure WITH you based on what's actually worked in your past deals - this isn't a take-it-or-leave-it number pulled from nowhere. Fully remote, async-first, direct line to the owner, no middle management, full ownership of your book of contractor clients.
HOW TO APPLY
Start with "UNCAPPED", then answer ALL of these. Short, real, specific beats long and polished.
1. What are you doing right now (or most recently) in contractor lead-gen sales? Company/companies, vertical(s), your exact role.
2. Walk me through the exact PRICING model to the contractor - per lead, per appointment, % of job value, retainer, hybrid? Real numbers.
3. Your own commission structure on those deals - flat %, tiered, per-close bonus? One real example: deal closed, contract value, what you personally earned.
4. Walk me through your sales process end to end, first contact to signed/paid client. Follow-up cadence, top 2 objections and how you handle them.
5. How do YOU build your pipeline - cold calling, cold
6. Best closed deal in the last 12 months: vertical, deal structure, contract value, what you personally earned. We may verify.
7. Cost to generate each lead runs $15-30. How do you price it to the contractor so it's profitable for them AND leaves you real commission? Show your math.
8. Ever worked 100% commission-only with zero base? How did you manage pipeline risk / cash flow in slow stretches? Real story.
9. Average sales cycle for a contractor deal (first contact to signed/paid) and typical close rate out of qualified conversations?
10. When can you start? Availability (hours/week, timezone)?
