About ILX Travel:
ILX Travel is a luxury travel agency specializing in personalized and thoughtfully designed travel experiences. We work with discerning travelers to plan exceptional vacations, including luxury cruises, villas, resorts, customized itineraries, and unique travel experiences around the world. As we continue to grow our digital presence, we are looking for a talented Content Writer who can transform research, ideas, and travel expertise into engaging, informative, and SEO-friendly content.

Role Overview:
The Content Writer will create high-quality written content for ILX Travel and our related brands. This role is ideal for someone who is a strong researcher and storyteller, understands how to write for online audiences, and can adapt their writing style to different brands and target markets.

We also embrace the responsible use of AI tools to improve productivity and research. However, we are looking for a writer who can go beyond AI-generated content by applying critical thinking, fact-checking, creativity, editing, and a strong human voice.

Responsibilities:
-Research and write engaging travel articles, blog posts, destination guides, and website content.
-Create informative and inspirational content for luxury travelers.
-Conduct thorough research and verify facts using credible and authoritative sources.
-Write SEO-friendly content using appropriate keywords, headings, metadata, internal linking, and other on-page SEO practices.
-Adapt writing style and tone across ILX Travel and other related brands.
-Develop compelling headlines, introductions, conclusions, and calls-to-action.
-Edit and proofread content for grammar, clarity, accuracy, readability, and consistency.
-Recommend relevant images, internal links, related topics, and opportunities to improve the reader experience.
-Use AI tools responsibly to support research, ideation, outlining, and content development while maintaining originality and quality.
-Collaborate with the ILX Travel team and incorporate feedback into revisions.
-Manage assigned writing projects and meet agreed deadlines.

Role Requirements:
We are looking for someone who has:
-Excellent written English, grammar, spelling, and proofreading skills.
-Professional content writing, journalism, copywriting, or similar experience.
-Strong online research and fact-checking abilities.
-Ability to write engaging long-form articles.
-Understanding of SEO content writing and on-page SEO fundamentals.
-Ability to understand search intent and write for both readers and search engines.
-Strong storytelling skills and the ability to make researched information interesting and accessible.
-Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
-Ability to adapt to different brand voices and target audiences.
-Experience using AI writing or research tools responsibly and effectively.
-Ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet deadlines.
-Willingness to learn about luxury travel, cruises, destinations, villas, resorts, and other travel products.
-Experience writing about travel, luxury lifestyle, hospitality, cruises, or tourism is an advantage, but not required.
