JOB OVERVIEW

I need a fast, reliable editor for daily short-form TikTok product videos. The raw footage is simple but needs to be edited in a way that keeps viewers watching. The workload varies day to day. 5-30 videos 5 days a week is the goal.

What you'll be editing:

Short product videos up to 60 seconds. Content covers beauty, skincare, health, supplements, and food. I send raw clips in batches and expect finished videos ready by the next morning US Central Time. You can work whatever hours you want as long as deliverables are ready when I wake up.

Two types of content:

Talking head — I'm on camera speaking about the product. You'll receive a single video file to work with.
Voiceover — You'll receive a voiceover audio file and a set of product clips. You select and arrange the right clips to match the voiceover.

Editing tasks:

Trim clips and cut dead space
Combine multiple clips into one video
Zoom in and zoom out edits on nearly every clip to keep pacing tight and hold attention — this is not optional, it's the core of what makes these videos work
Speed up footage where needed to keep energy high
Apply retouch filters
Increase and adjust audio volume
Additional engaging edits as needed (subtle transitions, repositioning) to make simple takes feel dynamic
For voiceover videos, select appropriate product clips and arrange them to match the voiceover audio

You will not be adding on-screen text, captions, or music. Just clean, engaging cuts.

Volume and schedule:

Anywhere from 5 to 30 videos on a given day
Batches sent on weekdays only — no Saturdays or Sundays
This is ongoing work, not a one-off project, but the volume fluctuates

Requirements:

You must be fluent in English — speaking and understanding. We will communicate in English daily and you need to understand product context and voiceover content to edit effectively.
Fast turnaround
Attention to detail
Ability to follow examples and replicate a style

Software:

Use whatever you're fastest in — CapCut, Premiere, Final Cut, DaVinci, doesn't matter.

Pay:

Negotiable based on your experience and skill level. Include your expected rate when you apply.
