# Google Merchant Center Specialist - Shopify E-commerce

We are a rapidly expanding e-commerce business with multiple active Shopify stores across different markets, and we're continuing to grow.

To support our expansion, we're looking for an experienced **Google Merchant Center Specialist** who has a strong understanding of Google Merchant Center policies, Google Shopping requirements, Shopify compliance, and store approval processes.

The ideal candidate should be able to review our stores, identify compliance issues, resolve Merchant Center problems, and help us get new stores approved and ready for Google Shopping.

## What You'll Be Doing:

* Reviewing Shopify stores before submitting them to Google Merchant Center
* Ensuring stores comply with Google Merchant Center and Google Shopping policies
* Helping get new Merchant Center accounts and stores approved
* Identifying and fixing policy violations and account issues
* Handling Google Merchant Center diagnostics, warnings, disapprovals, and suspensions
* Reviewing stores for potential **Misrepresentation** issues
* Checking website compliance, including:

* Contact information
* Shipping policies
* Return and refund policies
* Payment information
* Business information
* Product information
* Checkout experience
* Reviewing and optimizing product feeds
* Fixing product disapprovals and feed errors
* Checking product titles, descriptions, images, prices, availability, and other feed attributes
* Configuring and troubleshooting Shopify product feeds
* Working with feed management apps such as Simprosys or similar tools
* Checking Merchant Center shipping and return settings
* Assisting with business verification and Merchant Center setup
* Troubleshooting Google Shopping and Google Merchant Center issues
* Preparing and submitting account reviews or appeals when appropriate
* Staying up to date with Google Merchant Center policies and changes
* Helping with other Google, Shopify, and e-commerce related tasks when needed
* Documenting problems and solutions clearly for the rest of the team

## What We're Looking For:

* Previous hands-on experience with **Google Merchant Center**
* Strong knowledge of Google Merchant Center policies and Google Shopping requirements
* Experience getting Shopify stores approved for Google Merchant Center
* Experience dealing with Merchant Center suspensions and policy violations
* Strong understanding of Google's **Misrepresentation** policy
* Experience diagnosing and fixing product disapprovals
* Good understanding of Shopify
* Experience with product feeds and feed management tools
* Experience with Simprosys is a strong advantage
* Understanding of shipping, returns, refunds, checkout, and website compliance requirements
* Ability to identify problems before submitting a store for review
* Excellent attention to detail
* Strong written English communication skills
* Ability to research and understand Google policy updates
* Ability to work independently and follow internal procedures
* Reliable, organized, and solution-oriented
* Willingness to learn and adapt as the business continues to grow
* Availability to work 6 days per week
