JOB OVERVIEW

Roofing Claims & Operations Specialist (Xactimate)

This role is ideal for someone with experience in the roofing restoration industry who is comfortable managing insurance claims from start to finish. You'll primarily handle **Xactimate estimating and supplementing**, while also assisting with customer communication, appointment setting, and operational support as needed.

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates professionally, and is motivated by results—not just completing hours.

Key Responsibilities
Insurance Claims & Xactimate
* Prepare accurate estimates using Xactimate.
* Review insurance scopes and identify supplement opportunities.
* Submit and negotiate supplements with insurance carriers.
* Monitor claim progress and follow up with adjusters to ensure timely resolution.
* Maintain organized claim documentation and accurate records.

Operations Support
* Track claim status and ensure projects move efficiently through the workflow.
* Maintain accurate reporting and documentation.
* Assist with administrative tasks related to roofing operations.
* Learn and utilize company systems and workflows.

Customer Communication & Lead Support
* Professionally communicate with homeowners, insurance representatives, and other stakeholders.
* Handle occasional inbound and outbound phone calls.
* Assist with lead qualification and appointment setting when needed.
* Represent the company professionally during customer interactions.

Qualifications

Required
* Experience using **Xactimate**.
* Experience preparing or supplementing roofing insurance claims.
* Strong understanding of insurance restoration processes.
* Excellent English communication skills with a clear and professional phone presence.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to manage multiple claims simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
* High level of integrity, accountability, and ownership.

Preferred
* Experience in roofing, siding, or window restoration.
* Familiarity with QuickBooks or willingness to learn.
* Previous experience in customer service, appointment setting, or sales support.
* Experience working remotely.

Tools & Software
* Xactimate
* Company-provided roofing and claims software
* QuickBooks (preferred but not required)
