Content Producer (Freelance, Remote)
We run a podcast production agency for businesses and creators, and we need more Content Producers on our roster on projects as they come, paid per project.
Here's the job: you get a raw 30-90 minute recording. Usually unfiltered. Often a ramble. You turn it into a package the editor & graphic designer can actually execute - cut list, show notes, thumbnail direction, plus the cutdowns that bring people back to the main feed.
You would be a great fit if you can write a strong brief. We move fast and our clients want their content turned around quickly, so dependable communication and clean delivery matter as much as the edit itself.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Find the real story in a long conversation and write a cut list the editor can follow
- Direct the thumbnail (you're not designing it) and write the SEO title and show notes
- Spec the cold open, a 90-second short, and a 12-minute mid-form cut
- When there's no brand kit, pull the brand direction out of past episodes yourself
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Tight writer with editorial taste
- Can make a call when the brief is messy and the client is a real human with opinions
- Work with minimal hand holding
- English fluency
Remote, project-based, small teams. We've spent a lot of time building the operational layer around this role - templates, brief format, feedback loop - so you're not stuck doing PM work. You should be spending your time on the editorial calls.
This starts per project with steady volume for the right person, and it can grow into more consistent work over time. The first step after we review portfolios is a short paid test edit.
If you're good at this, apply.
HOW TO APPLY
Short form, takes about 2 minutes:
Put the word "atlas" somewhere in your answers so we know you read this far.
You'll go into our roster. When a project lines up with you, the hiring manager reaches out.
