JOB OVERVIEW

I am looking for an experienced Square Online specialist to build and launch an e-commerce storefront for my Canadian handmade business.

I currently have a Square account, product photographs, product information, and an existing domain name. I need someone who can organize these materials into a professional, easy-to-use Square Online store.

My business creates laser-cut wooden resin outlines and kits, as well as handmade magnets, keychains, ornaments, souvenirs, and custom wood products.

Project responsibilities

• Build and organize the Square Online storefront
• Create a clean, professional homepage
• Upload and organize the supplied product photographs
• Create product listings using the information provided
• Organize products into appropriate categories and collections
• Add prices, options, variations, inventory information, and product details
• Format or improve product descriptions where necessary
• Set up navigation menus and shop pages
• Create About, Contact, FAQ, Shipping, Returns, Privacy, and Terms pages using information provided
• Configure Canadian shipping and local pickup options
• Review the GST and PST settings with me and configure them as directed
• Connect my existing domain to Square Online
• Set up basic search-engine titles and descriptions
• Ensure the website displays properly on desktop and mobile devices
• Test product pages, cart, checkout, contact forms, links, shipping, and pickup settings
• Correct setup or display problems before launch
• Provide simple written or recorded instructions showing me how to add and update products afterward

Important

This position requires direct experience with Square Online (Canada).

The successful applicant must protect all account, product, customer, and business information. The main Square account, domain ownership, primary email, billing information, and passwords will remain under my control. Access will be limited to what is necessary for the project.
