About the Position
We are seeking a creative and dependable Social Media and Outreach Coordinator who can turn raw videos and organizational information into professional Reels, graphics, captions,
The successful candidate will understand that mental-health content requires accuracy, sensitivity, good judgment, and respect. This is not an entertainment-only social-media position.
What You Will Own
Edit approximately three to five short-form videos each week from footage provided by leadership.
Create engaging hooks, captions, subtitles, transitions, B-roll, calls to action, and appropriate pacing.
Repurpose videos for Instagram Reels,
Create approximately two to four Canva graphics, carousels, flyers, or informational posts each week.
Maintain a monthly content calendar.
Schedule approved content using the organization’s social-media tools.
Write professional captions related to mental health, recovery, substance-use awareness, housing stability, workforce development, community partnerships, fundraising, and nonprofit impact.
Repurpose existing materials into newsletters, stakeholder updates, donor communications, and
Build organized outreach lists of appropriate referral partners, community organizations, donors, sponsors, businesses, and other external stakeholders using legitimate public business information.
Send approved outreach messages and follow-up communications.
Update outreach and lead-generation trackers so every contact has a clear status and next step.
Monitor comments and messages using approved response guidelines.

Track basic performance metrics, including reach, engagement, video views, saves, link clicks,
Prepare a concise monthly performance report with recommendations.
Maintain consistent brand fonts, templates, language, and visual presentation.
Required Qualifications
At least two years of social-media content, digital marketing, nonprofit communication, community outreach, or video-editing experience.
A strong portfolio containing short-form videos and Canva designs.
Advanced Canva skills.
Strong CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Descript, or comparable short-form editing skills.
Excellent written English, grammar, and proofreading.
Ability to write sensitively about mental health, substance-use recovery, housing, trauma, social services, and community needs.
Experience with social scheduling tools and basic analytics.
Experience with Mailchimp, Constant Contact, ConvertKit, GoHighLevel, HubSpot, or another
Ability to follow an approval process and meet consistent weekly deadlines.
Willingness to protect organizational and client confidentiality.
Ability to use AI tools responsibly without entering client, employee, referral, donor, or other confidential information into unapproved systems.
