Role

Arete Risk Advisors is seeking a professional virtual assistant to make B2B outreach calls to U.S. insurance, consulting, staffing, software, and risk-management companies.

This is not consumer telemarketing or insurance sales. The goal is to identify the correct decision-maker, verify contact information, ask whether the company uses outside underwriting or insurance subject-matter experts, and create qualified follow-up opportunities.

Responsibilities
Make outbound calls using a company-provided cloud phone system
Speak professionally with receptionists, managers, and executives
Identify decision-makers for contract underwriting, consulting, implementation, or project resources
Verify names, titles, emails, and direct phone numbers
Ask permission to send Arete’s capabilities statement
Notify the owner immediately when information must be sent
Keep the contact on the phone when possible to confirm receipt
Update the company tracker after every call
Record accurate notes, outcomes, and follow-up dates
Schedule meetings only when authorized
Not Authorized

The VA may not:

Quote pricing
Negotiate projects
Sell insurance
Promise services
Send proposals
Discuss confidential information
Use a personal email account for Arete outreach
Requirements
Excellent spoken and written English
Strong professional phone presence
Experience calling U.S. businesses
Comfortable speaking with executives and gatekeepers
Accurate note-taking and CRM skills
Reliable computer, internet, headset, and quiet workspace
Comfortable using a browser-based cloud phone system
Able to follow scripts and instructions closely

Insurance, staffing, SaaS, recruiting, appointment-setting, or professional-services experience is preferred.
