JOB OVERVIEW

Overview

Concrete CEO is seeking an experienced and highly detail-oriented Concrete Estimator to support our growing team on a part-time and/or per-project basis.
In this role, you will review construction plans, perform detailed quantity takeoffs, calculate project costs, and prepare accurate estimates for concrete and construction projects. We are looking for someone with proven experience in concrete estimating who can work independently, produce accurate results, and meet project deadlines with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities
- Review architectural, structural, and construction plans and specifications
- Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for concrete projects
- Calculate concrete volumes, square footage, material quantities, labor requirements, and project costs
- Prepare accurate and organized estimates and cost breakdowns
- Identify scope gaps, missing information, and potential estimating risks
- Review plan revisions and update estimates as needed
- Maintain organized takeoff files, estimates, and project documentation
- Communicate clearly with project managers, sales representatives, and tea ---------- mbers

Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Concrete Estimator, Senior Construction Estimator, Quantity Surveyor, Civil Engineer, or similar role
- Strong experience estimating concrete work, including slabs, foundations, footings, walls, driveways, patios, sidewalks, and flatwork
- Advanced proficiency with Bluebeam Revu, PlanSwift, AutoCAD, or similar digital takeoff and estimating software
- Strong ability to read and interpret architectural and structural plans, drawings, and specifications
- Experience preparing detailed quantity takeoffs and accurate cost estimates
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- Familiarity with U.S. construction standards, terminology, measurements, and pricing is highly preferred
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and written English communication
- Ability to work independently and manage project deadlines

Compensation & Work Arrangement
- $8–$12 USD per hour, depending on experience and demonstrated estimating ability
- Part-time and/or project-based engagement
- Hours will vary based on project volume and workload
- Per-project pricing may be considered based on project scope and complexity
- This may develop into a long-term working relationship for the right candidate
