I'm looking for an experienced Podcast Production & Content Specialist to become a long-ter
I host The MedLife Support Podcast, a Top 10% podcast focused on physician burnout, physician families, and healthcare. My company, The MedLife Matrix, provides speaking, consulting, coaching, education, and research for physicians, physician families, and healthcare organizations.
I'm looking for someone who loves the technical side of podcast production so I can spend more time creating content and growing the business.
This is a long-term opportunity with the potential to grow into a much larger role over time.
*Phase One Responsibilities:
Weekly Podcast Production (4 episodes per month)
-Edit audio and video podcast episodes recorded in Riverside
-Improve pacing and flow
-Remove mistakes, filler words, distractions, and unnecessary pauses
-Balance audio and improve sound quality
-Export final audio and video files
YouTube Management:
-One-time project:
-Optimize and organize my existing YouTube channel
-Upload and optimize my current back catalog (approximately 40 episodes)
-Create playlists and organize the channel
Ongoing:
-Upload one podcast episode each week
-Create YouTube descriptions
-Create chapter timestamps
-Upload thumbnails
-Organize playlists
-Optimize episodes for YouTube
Podcast Publishing:
Using my existing ChatGPT workflows and prompts:
-Create podcast show notes
-Upload and publish episodes in Libsyn
-Create and format companion blog posts in Kajabi
*I already have detailed ChatGPT prompts and systems for these tasks. I am looking for someone who can learn and consistently execute my established workflow while maintaining my brand voice.
Short-Form Content:
-Create two engaging reels per podcast episode (8 reels per month).
-Reels should include:
-Professional editing
-Captions
-Motion graphics
-B-roll where appropriate
-Music/SFX
-Strong opening hooks
-A polished, modern style that keeps viewers engaged
Organization:
-Maintain an organized Google Drive
-Keep projects organized
-Maintain approximately a two-week production buffer
-Communicate proactively about deadlines
Preferred Experience:
Experience with the following is highly preferred:
-Riverside
-Podcast editing (audio & video)
-YouTube Studio
-Libsyn
-Kajabi
-Canva
-Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro
-ChatGPT
-Google Drive
* Experience working with podcasts, coaches, speakers, healthcare professionals, or thought leaders is a plus.
