ABOUT EPYC MEDIA
EPYC Media is a cultural storytelling agency known for building network ready content ecosystems for culturally influential founders, brands, athletes, entertainers, non profits, and enterprises. We believe story comes before format, emotional resonance creates audience loyalty, and premium production is a form of respect for the audience. The best content doesn't interrupt culture, it becomes part of it. Most of our team has been with EPYC 5+ years, because the work asks a lot of you (real detail, real craft, real effort) but it also moves the needle.
THE ROLE
EPYC is scaling its visual output across a growing network of premium podcast and docuseries clients, and we need a second high-level creative eye to help carry that volume without compromising the polish our brand is known for. This is not a production-line design job; it's the first impression that gets someone to click play, and the visual language that keeps a show feeling premium episode after episode. You'll work directly with our Lead Graphic Designer and the Post Production team to translate raw footage, story arcs, and brand identities into graphics that feel cinematic, intentional, and culturally fluent, never templated, never stock, never cheap.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
YouTube Thumbnails: high-CTR, on-brand, story-forward, never clickbait-generic.
Reel Covers + Copy: strong visual composition paired with sharp, voice-accurate copywriting.
Podcast Cover Art: full show identity development across new and existing shows.
Story & Segment Graphics: lower thirds, quote cards, carousel/swipe graphics, IG Stories assets.
Show-to-Show Consistency: maintaining each client's distinct brand system across high-volume output.
Cross-Team Collaboration: working with editors and QA so graphics land in sync with edit timing and deadlines.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Strong creative instincts: able to take a loose brief (or a gut-feeling direction) and turn it into something premium and story-first.
Social performance experience: thumbnails, covers, and reels that drive click-through without going tabloid.
Multi-brand fluency: comfortable working across several client identities at once, with zero visual bleed between shows.
Copywriting instinct: punchy, culturally aware, on-voice text for reels and graphics.
Reliable turnaround on high-volume deliverables without sacrificing quality.
SOFTWARE
Adobe Illustrator: required.
Adobe Photoshop: required, heavy daily use.
Canva: proficient, used for fast-turnaround and templated systems.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
Within 90 days, you're fully embedded in EPYC's design pipeline, producing thumbnails, covers, and story graphics independently across multiple client shows. Your work should be indistinguishable in quality from our Lead Graphic Designer's, giving the design function room to grow into EPYC's next stage.
