We're looking for a sharp, persistent researcher to help enrich a database of 60 event/meeting venues across the United States. This is not a simple data-entry task — you'll need to think like a detective to track down the right contact at each venue, then confidently reach out to them by
What you'll be doing:
* Researching each venue online to find its website, and identifying the correct sales or events contact (name, title, direct
* Sending outreach
* Logging everything accurately in a shared tracking spreadsheet
* Following a clear process and status system so nothing falls through the cracks
* Sending short daily progress updates
This role is a great fit if you:
* Are comfortable making phone calls to businesses (not just
* Don't give up after one dead end — you'll try 3-4 different approaches to find a contact
* Write clean, professional, typo-free English
* Are organized and detail-oriented with spreadsheets
* Can work independently once given a clear process
Nice to have (not required):
* Experience with lead generation, appointment setting, or research-based VA work
* Familiarity with baseball or sports venues/stadiums — a lot of our venues are baseball-related, and general familiarity with concepts like seating areas, suites, and in-season/off-season scheduling makes conversations with venue staff faster and smoother. This is a bonus, not a requirement — strong researchers without this background are absolutely still encouraged to apply.
