JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a dedicated full-time Senior Web Developer based in the Philippines to join our marketing team remotely. This is a long-term role for an experienced developer with at least 5 years of professional web development experience who can build, maintain, and improve modern, responsive, high-performing websites and web applications.

This person will support our ongoing website development and digital marketing needs. Projects may include building new website pages and landing pages, improving existing websites, developing custom features or applications, troubleshooting technical issues, connecting third-party platforms, improving site speed, supporting search engine optimization, and maintaining overall website performance and security.

Strong experience with WordPress, Elementor, and Webflow is preferred. You should also be comfortable working directly with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and other technologies needed to develop or customize professional websites.

Experience building custom web applications or working across both front-end and back-end development is strongly preferred. This may include experience with frameworks such as React, Next.js, Vue, Angular, Node.js, Laravel, or similar technologies. You should also be comfortable working with databases, APIs, authentication systems, hosting environments, and third-party platform integrations.

You should be able to take a design, mockup, wireframe, or project brief and turn it into a polished, functional webpage or application that closely matches the intended design. Strong attention to layout, typography, spacing, mobile responsiveness, and consistency is essential.

Responsibilities may include:
• Building and updating WordPress and Webflow websites
• Creating landing pages and website sections from approved designs
• Customizing Elementor templates, components, and functionality
• Writing and editing HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
• Developing custom WordPress features when required
• Building or supporting custom web applications
• Contributing to both front-end and back-end development
• Creating and maintaining APIs and third-party integrations
• Working with databases, user authentication, and application logic
• Ensuring websites and applications work properly across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
• Troubleshooting layout, functionality, plugin, theme, and compatibility issues
• Improving page speed, Core Web Vitals, and overall site performance
• Supporting technical and on-page SEO requirements
• Connecting forms, CRM platforms, analytics tools, advertising pixels, APIs, and other third-party systems
• Managing redirects, tracking codes, cookies, and website integrations
• Performing website maintenance, updates, backups, and quality checks
• Identifying and resolving security or performance concerns
• Testing all work carefully before publishing
• Documenting custom code, integrations, and important development processes

The ideal candidate understands both development and the practical needs of a marketing team. You should be able to build websites and applications that look professional, load quickly, work correctly, and support lead generation, customer experience, and business goals.

This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for a senior developer who can work independently, solve problems, make sound technical decisions, and consistently deliver reliable, polished work. You should know when you can resolve an issue independently and when you need to ask questions before moving forward.

Attention to detail is essential. All work must be tested for functionality, responsiveness, browser compatibility, performance, and accuracy before it is considered complete. You will also be expected to protect existing website functionality and avoid introducing unnecessary plugins, security risks, or technical debt.

Strong English communication, organization, reliability, responsiveness, and the ability to meet deadlines are required. You should be comfortable receiving feedback and working with marketing, graphic design, copywriting, sales, operations, and company leadership.

This is a full-time position for someone looking for consistent, long-term work with one company. We are not looking for an agency, development firm, or part-time freelancer. We are looking for an individual developer who can become a trusted member of our marketing team.

The use of artificial intelligence and coding-assistance tools is permitted when appropriate, but you will remain responsible for reviewing, testing, securing, and documenting all code and work you submit. We are not looking for someone who relies on AI-generated code without fully understanding how it works.

Please make sure your application and portfolio accurately represent your own skills and the quality of work you can personally produce.

We are located in New York, United States, and operate on Eastern Time. This position will be performed remotely from the Philippines. We require at least four hours of overlap with our team during our normal morning hours.

One possible schedule would be approximately 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. Philippine Time, which generally provides overlap with our team between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Exact hours can be discussed, and occasional schedule adjustments may be needed when daylight saving time changes in the United States.

This role is required to use the TimeProof application to log and track all working hours. At the end of each work week, you will total the hours recorded in TimeProof and submit a PayPal invoice for the hours worked during that week.

We will add an additional 3.5% processing allowance to the invoice subtotal to offset the transaction fees collected by PayPal. Payments will be processed weekly after the submitted hours and invoice have been reviewed.
